> 24 hourThese are genius. I live somewhere that gets high wind certain times of the year, and Ive previously used regular hooks that dont have clips and the lights dont always stay on them. I just got some solar fairy mason jars that Ive been worried will fall off (theyre glass so theyd shatter) and with these I dont have to worry anymore! Definitely a nice upgrade. They seem well made too, nicely coated (not sloppy) and the clips have a smooth action and spring closed.

> 24 hourLove that theres a safety buckle so that your string does not slip off in the event theres wind to move your lights around.

> 24 hourI pre-drilled holes into the wooden soffit to install the hooks so I could string up my Christmas lights. Once the holes were drilled, I started inserting the hooks by hand; then, I used some pliers to screw them in. They are sturdy, and the spring on the hook is stiff, so it took a little effort to push the wire through; that gave me confidence that the wire would not just fall out because of an unclosed spring. I also hung a windchime on one of the hooks, we got quite the wind storm (which damaged the windchime a little ), and the windchime never came loose.

> 24 hourThese hooks are good quality and hold up to being installed outdoors. They are sturdy and take being torqued into harder materials with ease. They look good and hold a good amount of weight.

> 24 hourI love that these hooks have latches on them! They seem to be made of quality materials and feel very sturdy. They were easy to install and now my Christmas lights will stay put! The latches are sturdy and spring loaded. I highly recommend!

> 24 hourThese hooks are strong enough for lights, plants, and many more uses. I like the spring loaded safety buckles. Nothing is going to fall of these hooks accidentally. The anchors included are adequate but I would advise to sink the screws into wood if possible. Useful for many things around the home.

> 24 hourThere are two things that stand out about these hooks; 1) the threaded sham is longer than your typical hook. This provides adequate length to penetrate throught sheetrock into the stud or joist, preventing these from pulling out. 2) the spring mechanism prevents whatever the hook is holding from slipping off under any condition. Id definitely recommend them.

> 24 hourI have my outdoor lights strung through my plumeria tree and then draped on a light pole. For some extra sturdiness and to ensure the pole doesn’t tip or sag with time, I used these little hooks to attach a piece of small wire from the pole to the hook which I screwed into my siding. I like the snap in place closure and these are very sturdy. I’ll most likely use the rest for Christmas lights or other holiday decor.

> 24 hourThese hooks are sturdy and fairly easy to install in pine and fir, but a pilot hole is helpful in harder wood. the hooks will hold small hanging plants, solar powered lanterns, and I have two hooks mounted on a bookcase by the door to hold keys. I am planning on using the rest of the hooks in the package in the garage to hold tools at the ready.
