Heavy duty and nice looking, this hook lock is perfect on our stockade fence and heavy enough to withstand traffic between our front and back yards.

It does the job quite well, and it is simple!

After rescuing some sick kittens, we had to keep them separated from the rest of our pets so we built a barn door and quickly found out that the kittens were strong enough to push it open. So we needed a simple stylish latch that would not interfere with the look at the door. Strong enough to hold the door in place against light to moderate pressure but I’m sure someone really strong would rip it out the wall. The latch itself is very sturdy and durable so if you need something that can handle quite a bit of pressure, just use longer screws.

Needed something up high to keep my kids from being able to open the gate. This is perfect for my use and seems to be of good quality. Only time will tell how it holds up tho

Not as pictured. The hook is pointed in the product pictures and in other pictures posted by customers. But the one I received is not pointed, but stubby. Also, the measurements aren’t exact. The squares have to be closer together if you expect to be able to unlatch.

These are very sturdy and a great price!

What you see is what you get. Strong little latch, reminds me of old time Western handmade hardware. In these days of cheap imitation goods, this item looks and feels like the genuine article.

Very easy to install and looks awesome!! Ive never installed anything like this before in my life and had no trouble at all!

Looks and feels like it came out of the blacksmith shop yesterday. Stout!
