LIf you are looking for a great quality latch, buy this one. It is solidly made, easy to install and looks great. I install on both sides of my sliding barn door leading into my Man Cave. Have my 2 year Grandson living with me and need the extra protection for safety and to keep him out. Shipping/packaging were great as well. Zero Complaints with this product. Lightning fast shipping. Solid product and super well build. If you are looking for a great latch, buy this latch. Cheaper ones out there but they are just that. Would recommend, buy it. Thanks

Looks great for my bathroom barn door lock.

Bought a barn and am using it as a garage. These work well in keeping the barn doors open and look great- especially with the gooseneck lamp I bought. They are smooth and large/hefty enough to hold the barn doors open when it is windy.

As others have said, this lock is huge, but I really like the look. My only issue was that if the square mounts were hung at the same height, you would have a bit of a gap on this type of door (its on the inside of a bifold door - old laundry area turned (really, really) small office/guest room). That seems resolved by hanging the eye mount a little bit higher than the hook mount (see pic).

Quality for the price

Nice heavy duty product. May be a bit bigger than needed. Am waiting to see if I need to install 8 screws for a latch.

It is built to last forever. I bought it 3 years ago and still looks like new despite a lot of use and harsh weather. My yet-to-be-born great-grandchildren will be old and gray long before this reaches the end of its life.
