I figured that even with the extra gap near the top, it would still provide adequate protection. When I got it, I was pleasantly surprised to find it fit perfectly. Good materials, and solidly built.

> 24 hourPretty sleek little case. Legit fits my iPad as well without the case I have for it on it. However I dont have a glass protector on the iPad so it makes me a little nervous putting it in there since there is no padding and it is not designed to hold it. But it fits and I do it anyway sometimes so thats nice. Protects my MacBook seemingly well but then again I take good care of my electronics and buy warranties since theyre so expensive. Does the job well and materials feel worth the $20. Gotten compliments on it. Simplicity is good.

> 24 hourMore than one year using this sleeve and just have to say its great!!! the protection is awesome and the pocket is very very useful (it can store more things than you might imagine). The double zipper not just makes so easy opening and closing, and also gives the possibility to easly leave your laptop charing (with the cable of course) while the sleeve is completely closed, this doesnt happen with other sleeves and then, you forget the zipper is open and when you grab your computer it falls.
