The case with a MacBook Air inside fell from my backseat of my car as I opened the door due to items shifting while I was driving and it fell on a textured concrete floor. Probably about a 2 foot drop. The computer completely scraped metal off and is now abrasive on the corner where it impacted. Do not expect this case to in any way protect you from drops. The MacBook Air now has a filed-down huge dent/scratch on the corner
