It worked great for the first few weeks, and now it wont keep the connection. It will connect if i disconnect and reconnect the transmitter, but then loses the connection after a few minutes. I ordered it on April 16 and it started dropping the connection May 18, and became absolutely useless a day later. I wouldnt recommend buying this unless you add on the extended buyer protection - Im going to consider looking into that to make sure itll cover this kind of situation before considering buying this again. I really want the functionality this provided its first few weeks of life, but then I dont want to have to deal with a buyer protection plan replacement every few weeks, if this thing normally dies that often. Unsurprisingly, there seems to be no way to get a warranty replacement.

This device is very useful if you want to display your Laptop or PC to a monitor/TV. First time I plugged in the device to my laptop it connected automatically. The experience was smooth and clear. I have been using this device to display my laptop in the living room TV. This device does not need any apps to make it work which makes it very user friendly. I can say that having this device has made it much easier to display my laptop and allowed me to get rid of the cords that I would have carried around endlessly.

I use this for presentations and to stream video to projectors when I want to have a family night. It works great and is easy to use. You simply plug the transmitter and receiver in and off you go. Its easy to use and works, not much else to ask for. I would definitely recommend.

Just plug in and go. Connects the computer to the tv. The picture was great.

I must admit that using this Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver has completely changed the way I work and entertain. I have been using it for a few weeks now. It is incredibly simple to set up and designed for PCs and laptops. I simply connected the receiver to my HDTV and the HDMI dongle adapter to my laptop, and I was good to go. It supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, ensuring stable and non-stop video and audio streaming. The connection is flawless and the video and audio are of the highest caliber. Without any lag or delay, I can stream movies and videos from my laptop to my HDTV. It has significantly improved family movie nights. Additionally, it has made it simpler for me to demonstrate my work to clients. Now, I can easily display my work on a bigger screen.

I wanted to use it for gaming. A lot of lag. Not a great product for my purposes. Not sure if the same result would happen for applications like Microsoft word but definitely not good for streaming video or games

This is truly plug and play. Worked flawlessly. Plugged in the RX into the TV, connected the power to the outlet, then the TX in the computer. Everything came up perfectly out of the box. I did some testing and rebooting and still came back up well. I had to play with the video because for some reason the scaling was going off the screen, but I was able to fix it in graphic properties. Not a big deal. The only downfall for me, which is a deal breaker, is that everytime the TV is turned off, then back on, the RX ceases to receive. Turning the TV off leaves power on the RX, and then when the TV is turned back on, it will not receive a picture. The TX just flashes like it is pairing indefinitely. The only way to fix it is to remove the USB-C power connector from the RX device and plug it back in, effectively rebooting the device. After that, it comes back up. Unfortunately, this is a mounted TV and the ability to keep reaching behind it to disconnect and reconnect power every time the TV is powered off is not practical. I tried to connect the RX to the USB port on the back of the TV. I was excited when the RX powered up, but alas, it will not connect with the transmitter when powered ONLY by USB port. It required the outlet power to establish a connection so I am stuck with returning this item and trying something else. Picture was great....lag was almost non-existent. Just that darn power option when I have to manually remove power and plug it back in EVERY TIME the TV power is cycled. I cant be dealing with that every time.

What I dont like about this is the price. Think it could cost alot lower. Seen others for less but dont know how the function works for them. This does the same here on this little screen just like on my TV so it does work well. I dont know how far it will stay connected in distance but hey use a big screen wireless across the room? Cant really beat that. Especially if it is a pi. I didnt have to pair them because it already was however when turning it on ut would try to step you through a fre things so loosing the instructions is really no big deal in a way. Picture quality is just like having a cord there. I would imagine that if watching a movie there might be some kind of lag because nothing beats direct connection like wired if no lag is needed. Not saying there is but if you notice it then because if wireless there might be some. Well other than price I think these a are good. 4 stars if you know why. Good Luck just me.

This is a pretty simple device intended to do one function: to stream HDMI output from point A the transmitter to Point B the receiver. Theres plenty of use cases where this would be important and this device does the job, does it well, and couldnt be easier to set up. You can transfer the data up to just under 100 feet (98 feet to be precise) and that should cover most applications. You can even use an HDMI converter to use it with non-HDMI devices though you wont get as good of a performance this way. It pretty much just works--plug in the transmitter and receiver and theyll pair automatically and youre ready to roll some video. Very simple and very functional. Highly recommended!
