Simplest easiest HDMI wireless connectors ever! BY FAR! I do a lot of training for my job and I generally hook up my laptop to a TV or projector. Carrying a 50 foot cable with me all the time is painful and cumbersome. Carrying a regular wireless transmitter is also cumbersome as you have to now carry cables for 2 connectors, ac adpters, and the transmitter and receiver that its the same if not more than a 50 cable. Not to get off on a rant here, but if you dont check a 50 foot hdmi cable and bring it in your bag through airport security you will almost certainly get pulled to the side as 50 foot of coiled wire in a bag looks mighty suspicious in your bag under x-ray. So just for that fact alone its worth it. Anyhow lets roll into some pros/cons Pros: -Easiest simplest HDMI transmistter hands down (literally plug and play) -Awesome transmission distance. Easily have done nearly 50 yards at one point and picture was flawless -You only need the 2 pieces, no cable, adapters, other nonsense -Crazy affordable to comparative sets Cons: -Honestly none, these are one of those rare things (and I do mean rare) that I cant find anything even remotely wrong in. I honestly love these. They just work. Pop one in your computers HDMI and one in your receiving TV and thats it. Has worked across 30+ tvs without an issue. Some tvs I understand do need additional USB power for the receiver, but it comes with a cable to accomplish that if needed. I have yet to need that though. Its a mainstay now in my carry bag for work. Since it takes up such little space its always with me regardless!

I plugged in the two units and they connected automatically - nothing at all had to be done by me. Wish everything worked this well.

It is easy to use, the signal is stable, and the picture and sound quality are good. I put a monitor in the dining room, through which I can receive the video and audio from the TV box in the living room, which is very convenient and practical.

I periodically do trainings and I like to be away from the huge monitor mounted on the wall, and sometimes even talk from the back of the room. I don’t like running long cables or being tethered to the monitor, especially if it’s an event type venue and you have a trip hazard and have to put gaff tape on everything. A secondary application is at home. Often I have my computer running in my home office but after a long day, I want to relocate to another part of my home that is more comfortable. I can very easily take my wireless mouse and keyboard and simply go to another room where I have a monitor set up. And occasionally, I will have all my video and streaming stuff hooked up to one TV and want to finish a movie or something in the kitchen or even on the patio. This is an easy way to make that happen. I wouldn’t call myself a power user and I am not pushing this thing to its spec limits for the signal. I’m not doing 4k or gaming. The listing notes that this is good for about 98 feet which is less distance than some comparable devices out there on the market. I am never in a place where I would need that kind of range. Rarely am I going more than about 50 feet away from transmitter to receiver and the signal easily worked from one room to another through walls in the same building. I didn’t sense any interference between these and other electronics and I didn’t notice any lag in the signal as I got further away or with all the other electronics used in the area. Your experience may differ from mine and you may experience some lag or stutter if you are trying to push more data through them, have content with heavy resolution, or have obstacles between the receiver and transmitter. For my purposes, they functioned well. The pair were easy to set up and were unobtrusive once in place. The build quality was nice and compared to other options, I feel like these are fairly compact. Neither unit got hot during use.

Works great to display my small laptop screen (that I dont use due to size) on my big tv. Makes my eyes happy and I can get comfortable on the sofa instead of sitting at my desk. Of course it means working with only one screen, but thats ok for some projects. Its just nice to have options. I havent noticed any lag and setup was a breeze.

We have a large flat screen TV in our work conference room in the corner. Unfortunately, there was no easy way to connect to it other than with a long cable that was a trip hazard anytime we had to use it. We had a visitor one day that had to bring their own cable because our died. That was quite embarrassing. I tried this on my own monitor to see how it works. It was super easy. Powered up the unit, plugged the devices into the monitor and the laptop. Bam - instant remote, wireless projection. Tried it on our conference room TV. The setup was just as easy. Plug the receiver into the TV, plug the transmitter into the laptop, now there is wireless projection. Have since tried it several times on different occasions. Has always worked on the first try. Great wireless projector setup.

I guess this works OK and clearly it’s designed for something like mobile rather than a set up in your home. It works although the transmitter and receivers get pretty warm. The problem is they plug directly into the devices so if the plug is in the back of the TV the TV body and all the electronics inside or going to do a fair job of blocking the signal. You may need an hdmi extension cord for this so you can get a clear line of sight. These smaller devices are limited because they don’t have external antennas. The other thing is the power requirements. It still uses micro USB instead of USB-C which is starting to be a real pain. And the strain of having another cable plugged in risks damaging your HDMI port. You have to be very careful about making sure that either side doesn’t put undue stress on the HDMI port. And of course you have to have a free USB handy on both sides or you won’t be able to power this device. I guess that’s inevitable although I would like to see a way to draw power from the HDMI port itself. Pin 18 on the HDMI specifications only carries .25 W but that should be enough to power a small transmitter or at the very least the receiver. But since nobody makes one yet I am guessing they have not been able to make that work efficiently.

Worked great at 1st, then after 6 weeks it kept losing connection. I have it 30 feet away and every time I turn off the monitor I have to bring it right back next to each other to pair it. Just lasted long enough to make it out of the return window....
