Great product. Using with my outdoor Bistro Lights. This is the only outdoor smart ‘dimmer’ product that I am aware of and it works perfectly. I have set up two programs – one for full brightness at dusk and then after a few hours, it dims and is at twenty percent brightness till dusk. So they work as security lights as well as I have these string lights running all along the fence. Note that the dimmer is good for lighting loads up to 400 watts which is plenty for a couple of string lights in series.

0 to 100% dimming is a unique feature not found in others outdoor smartplug. Were using to control our smart light decoration for holidays. First test is halloween in 2 weeks. Construction of the plug is solid. Feel higher quality plastic. My Tuya app and google home pick it up w/o any problem. + for this package is that you have 2 plugs to schedule an play with.

Shocked that these things work so great for outdoor festoon LED lighting. They dim very smoothly and can be set up on the schedule reliably. The app is incredibly easy to use. Setup is a breeze. No clue if they will last durability wise, but for the price, very very impressed.

I love that the app Smart Life has so many features to control these wifi devices. I currently own their switches (3-way, and single), outdoor and indoor plugs. I can schedule on/off, use timer and also create smart actions that can control multiple devices with one command. It is perfect for my usage. I have used this particular outdoor plug for Christmas lights and it has worked beautifully under snow, freezing rain and cold winds. I definitely recommend buying from this company.

This outdoor plug is easy to setup feels sturdy and works great out of box. It took me about 10 minutes to setup both and in operation. If you use Smart Life app to setup, use manual setup, pick Socket Wifi -> Enter your 2.4ghz wifi information -> And change EZ mode to AP Mode. I can never get the EZ mode to work correctly and I have more than 10 Treat life switches and plugs in my house. All of them set up perfectly using AP mode but not EZ mode. I have both Alexa and Google Assistant. Adding to both app was easy and intuitive enough. I set up so if I say Alexa Merry Christmas, Alexa lights up all outdoor lights and the tree inside. Ordered the exterior dimmer 2 pack and used them to control about 300W of incandescent string lights each. One on our porch, which is covered, and put the other in an uncovered location. Real easy to set up, the app is pretty intuitive. After a couple months the uncovered one stopped working, and it was outside the return window. I reached out to the folks at TreatLife and they were responsive and sent me a new dimmer right away. Will try the dimmer in the same location next season, but add a small plastic bag over it to protect it from rain

This product is very easy to set up with the Treatlife app that I downloaded from Google Play. On the Android, the setup of each dimmer was very simple. Just follow the instructions. Basically: Blinking rapidly, hit the + on the app and it finds it, enter your WiFi password and its done! Then you can add it to Alexa and create routines for it! Very easy! The dimming is really nice because you can change the dimmable range depending on your exact application. Not all dimmers can do this. One item they do not include in the Amazon description is if you are in an area without WiFi, you can use the physical button ON the dimmer to increase/decrease the brightness. So it is NOT absolutely necessary to connect it to your phone via the app in order to use them!

As with all Treatlife products, this one works for the most part. Its easy to set up, works with the SmartLife app, powers on and off as expected, and dims. Ive had it installed outside for a week now in the rain for 2 of those days and have not had any problems. The first callout is one for all outdoor dimmers. Most are limited to 350 watts. This one is 400 watts - so better than most. I didnt notice that so unfortunately its not working as I would have hoped. I fixed the problem by running two dimmers each controlling half of my load. The second callout is a bigger issue. When the dimmer looses power (its unplugged or you have a power outage), it still powers on and off but does so at the lowest setting (18%). Therefore you have to make sure to set a routine to power on and then change the dimming level to the proper setting just incase youve lost power recently. To be clear, this only happens on loss of electric company power - not when the dimmer is powered on and off through normal means. I would get this again but would consider other ones if it met all my requirements and I knew it would hold its dimmer setting even after loss of power. Minus one star because its limited to 400w and minus a second because it wont remember settings.

These are great! The only reliable outdoor smart plug with DIMMER feature I have been able to find. Works great from the Tuya app, also works great with Homekit with Homebridge/Hoobs hub.

I purchased the two pack smart dimmers to control string lights for my back patio and a chandelier with an Edison bulb that I’m adding to a gazebo that is going up soon. With the TreatLife App, these dimmers were easy to connect to my 2.4G band of my two band router. Once connected, the dimmers were very easy to control. I have yet to play with the timer and schedule features of the App, but plan to use those with the new dimmer switches that I will get soon to use with my Christmas lights. Good product. Has a good, hefty feel. Will definitely buy again. The pictures include several dimming stages on the Edison bulb.
