It does what I expected. I used it to replace a generic power strip in my rack.

I like the product because it gives me the ability to connect to power both ways.

I researched many rack mounted surge protectors before I decided on this one, and Im glad I did. Price was my biggest drive, but the quality and visual appeal mattered as well. This one hits the nail on the head. The indicator lights on the front are nice, and the separated protection zones are a bonus. It has been protecting my server for about a month now with no issues.

The manufacturer doesn’t tell you that you have to supply the rackmount screws yourself when you purchase the item.

Its a rack mount power strip. Its got plugs in the front and the back. Its got an extremely long cord. The power switch is covered by a switch guard to prevent fingerpoken unt das blinkenlights. Plenty of room for the most ill conceived of wall wart power supplies (IE: Apples wall warts).

Powers my network rack. Does its job well. Doesnt have all the bells and whistles, but itll do us for the moment until we feel like spending the coin for said bells and whistles.
