Troxel Equestrian-Protective-Gear Troxel Spirit Horseback Riding Helmet

Bought this for my daughter and it fits great!

My 10 year old has taken a few horseback riding lessons. This works for us.

My little girl is just getting into riding and we bought her this for her first horse camp. She was stoked when she saw it.

My daughter was thrown 6ft off her horse while cantering. This helmet saved her. She landed head first, face up, hitting so hard her head bounced off the arena ground, cracking the outer layer of her helmet (she was riding in a soft sand arena). She passed concussion protocol right away and all mri’s and x-rays of her head/neck showed no brain trauma or skull fractures. She wound up walking away with a sore back and a broken arm and elbow. I can not emphasis enough having a quality helmet that fits your child. Please take the time to measure. My daughter is 10 years old, tall, but petite at only 62lbs. We measured and ordered her a size XS. It fit her perfectly. We did helmet checks with her instructor every lesson to make sure it was in good shape, fit well, and wasn’t compromised in any way. I am so thankful we took the time to measure & purchase a quality helmet that fit her. If we had just gone off the recommendations of strangers and guessed at the sizing, we might be in a different place.

Looks great & knock on wood haven’t tested out it’s safety factor but is comfortable and fits well. Love the added adjustment knob that allows slight adjustments. This has been helpful & can ride with a stocking cap under during winter.

We LOVE this helmet for our 2 yr old! It fits her perfectly now and will fit her in the future as she grows!

This is a great helmet for the price. I used it to make a HelHat and its so cute and protects my head as well.

Very comfortable, my daughter even keeps it on after riding lessons. Sometimes it can get itchy if she wears it for too long
