I used this and after washing it doesn’t stay black. Turned navy blue and then also some discoloration of other colors

Great color! Wish it was a bigger bottle though.

This was a great kit for a first timer like myself. Everything is included, which is nice because it is really hard to find gloves right now! I love how my hoodie turned out. Something to be aware of: the product comes with the dye powder already in the bottle (just add water). I was dying two items and the bottle looked small, so to make sure I had enough dye I dumped about half of the powder in a plastic bag and set it aside. This was a good move because one bottle full of dye did about 2/3 of my sweatshirt. If I were doing this again, I would dump all of the dye into a much larger container (a half gallon jug maybe), add water to that and then pour it into the applicator bottle. That way I couldve ensured that the dye had the same concentration of color each time I refilled the applicator bottle.

My 7 year old tie dyed shirts for school since their school color is purple. I only wish the colors stayed as vibrant after wash!

Very tiny bottle, definitely not worth the price, basically a ripoff

I used this liquid dye as a soke method. I used a white 100% cotton tshirt. I soked the shirt in soda ash fir 20 min. before dying. After soaking for 24 hours. I rinsed and washed the shirt out. I feel it is more of a ingego color. Not as dark as I was hoping or what was in the picture.

I only like to use Tulip for our family’s tie dye shirts. They turned out perfectly and this color (teal) was exactly what I had hoped it would be.

Not sure how well this works. Followed directions to patch up an item that got bleach blotched and it did not seem to fix the problem. It helped slightly but not much. Worth the try.

The gloves were useless, and had holes in them almost right away, and the elastics where not very good quality, which made it difficult to wrap around my bed sheets that I was coloring, but would be fine for a T-shirt. The main reason why I am giving this particular product such a low rating is that the color is WAY off. It is more like a dark pink! I freaked out when it came out of the bottle... but I thought if I waited it would change. NOTHING. I thought fast and remembered I had a bottle of blue so I added half a bottle of blue and then it looked like the color on the package, and I just tried to cover up what I had already coloured pink. I will find out tomorrow if it worked, but had I not had the blue on hand I would have completely wasted a $25 sheet set since there is no chance my son would want a pink bed spread!! Other then that, the dye worked, and it spread further than some of the other reviewers had said. For a twin sized duvet and standard pillow case, I used about 2.5 bottles of colour in total(the 0.5 was from the blue I had!) , 1 bottle was the purple, then one bottle of lime green. Given the fact that the elastics and gloves sucked pretty bad, and I had to mix colors to get the right color any way, I will probably spend a little more and get a jacquered die set and buy gloves and elastics seperately!
