> 3 dayI was just casually browsing amazon for things like kitchen supplies, books, etc, and then this thing popped up in the recommended items list. One thing led to another, and somehow I spent $500 on a metal cube. Shipping was fast, very well packaged, both the 2 and the 1 cubes came in perfect condition with their plastic stands. And thats pretty much it...now I have 2 metal cubes. I have also come to understand what Isaac Newton must have felt when the apple bonked him on the head. ....worth every penny, would buy it again. When I have more money I will buy the 4 cube

> 3 dayThis is a wonderful object to stare at, pick up and just feel amazed. Impossibly heavy. Great gift for a science buff.

> 3 dayCategory 5 hurricanes in your neighborhood? No piece of paper is going to escape from under this puppy. A striking desk ornament. I love it.

> 3 dayThe worlds most impressive paperweight (unless you can afford platinum or gold). This stuff is denser than some of the people you know.

Greater than one weekVery dense cube - great surface finish. 95% Tungsten with <5% other materials (Ni) to form alloy - makes surface much shinier than pure tungsten (the latter is rather dull gray). Cube is very close to same high density ~19 g/cm3. Entire cube is 2.4 kg / 5.2 lb. Really surprises people when they try to lift it from your desk.

> 3 dayThis is excellent! No geek worth their salt should be without! This cubve is heavy beyond anything one would encounter in their normnal experience. I cant stop picking it up.

> 3 dayDid not come with the certificate of chemical composition as stated in the description, but came with the 1x1x1 tungsten cube, which is a lot more important. Flawless surfaces, no scratches or imperfections, pristine. 1x1x1 cube is much less impressive when held after holding the 2x2x2 cube, which is unbelievably heavy for its volume. The perfect addition to any office desk.

> 3 dayThis is an expensive desk novelty, but definitely something unique. The cube itself is well machined and nicely packaged. My only issue is that it should have came within a beefier stand, one that won’t succumb to the weight of the piece it’s meant to display. Not docking and stars off because the price is clearly for the chunk of metal. Currently 3D printing a more robust stand while I’m typing this up.

04-04-2025A pretty cool and heavy paper weight. It comes with a stand that allows it to be displayed standing on one of its corners.

Greater than one weekI now have the 1, 1.5, and 2 cubes and I must say the 1.5 seems the most impressive. Obviously the 2 is heavier but it is bigger so it doesnt quite boggle the mind as much as the 1.5 at least to me and the people Ive showed it too. Either way, great product, fun science cube that makes marks in my desk lol.
