> 3 dayBuyer beware. It does say this is open box, but its easy to miss. Amazon should make it more obvious in the Product name or something. Mine came with no documentation, but I was able to download the docs from Ubiquitis web site and got it running. These things cost about the same from the manufacturer, but I thought I could save the shipping cost with Prime. I would have just paid for it had I known there would be stuff missing (or potentially defective/damaged).

Greater than one weekNothing but trouble, I went through three units, all kept rebooting at least twice an hour. Not an easy setup. Have to pay for support, no thank you. Got lp- link now, it was up and running in 3 min. No problems.

> 3 dayI have two AC LRs and one AC Lite, I must say the AC Lite does just fine compared to the LRs. I dont bother wasting my money on other WiFI gear when I can get Ubquiti. They just work 24/7 without need for resets, etc.

19-04-2025First I will make note that I just installed this, and it is my first Ubiquity AP. A little history, years ago I learned through experience that consumer grade routers and wifi products were only designed to last a couple of years before you had to buy a new one. That was usually a software thing, but sometimes the hardware died. I got tired of constantly replacing gear so I bought my first enterprise grade network gear about 15 years ago. In that endeavor I learned Cisco can be complex to program. I was going to school to be an electrical engineer at the time and that made it easier, but not easy. A couple of years ago I learned about Ubiquity. They have a market in the middle. Not quite full Cisco enterprise grade, but better then your standard consumer grade products put out by the likes of TP Link, Netgear, and others that are commonly found for home use. My purpose in typing all this is to address some of the negative reviews I have read. Those that say it was hard to set-up or didnt work when plugged directly into your providers router. Well, this is not your consumer grade plug and play product. This will require some tech savvy know how and you will need to be familiar with how networks function and how to program them. If you need plug and play, this is not for you. If your a tech nerd or a network professional, I dont need to explain any more. My only gripe would be that the UniFi line does not interface with the Edge line. My router is a Ubiquity Edge, this is a UniFi, and both have their own interfaces. I will update with longevity. I have two Cisco switches (Catalyst 2950) which are nearing 15 years old and still function flawlessly. I doubt I will get the same longevity out of this AP, but time will tell.
