Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker - Phantom Black

I loved this speaker but sadly the Bluetooth connection stopped working after a while. Sound quality is great, pretty loud, and decent battery life. But can’t recommend buying if it’s going to stop working after a few months.

I bought two of these because I liked the squatty form factor. It is subtle and should sort of hide in its environment instead of purposely stand out like other speakers. Moreover, it is supposed to be the best for outdoors. It was highly respected in online ratings, too. It also gets fairly loud. So why dont I like it? The sound quality is terrible. There is no way to change it as these speakers are hobbled by UE with no app support or EQ settings. I bought two knowing that stereo pairing wouldnt work. So what? I was putting them around my patio. Well, the 360 degree sound isnt exactly 360. Two wont be enough to pair, either as the louder they get, the harsher they sound. There is no extension to speak of. They are little tinny pods that almost look cool except for a non removable silly bungee loop and huge buttons on the face (like all UE speakers) that arent necessary in this form factor. They sound better than the JBL flip 4 and are built better. Even though those are app supported and can pair hundreds, I would shy away from them for outdoor patio listening. Looks like Ill have to pony up for the Bose or see if Sonos comes out with something for outside. Maybe Ill have to install a Pic system...whatever needs to happen, this isnt it- unfortunately. UE - if your reading this,I have a great design for a portable outdoor speaker with 360 sound. Apparently its an underserved market. Hit me up.

Amazing little power box, quality of sound is AMAZING

This speaker is everything I had hoped it would be. I own 3 Oontz portables but none really put out the bass like this. I needed a loud, but still good sounding fire pit party speaker and this does the trick,

I needed something which I could use to listed to music, radio (there’s an app for that) and also audio books. Using it in my kitchen and living room. Sounds great and clear as a bell.

Super happy :) I was trying to choose between 3 speakers, UE Wonderboom, JBL Flip 4, and DOSS Bluetooth. Let me tell you, this by far in my opinion definitely gets the loudest and has the best sound out of the three. I am very satisfied with this purchase and I will not hesitate to buy another one again.
