Exactly what was needed

I noticed our vacuum hose had some holes in it from general wear and tear. I went to the Shark website to order a factory replacement, but they were out of stock with no ETA. So, to Amazon I went and came across this exact replacement unit, for less than half the price of the factory version.I was a little hesitant, based on some of the other reviews, but figured I would give it a shot since I didnt have many other options. THE GOOD: The unit installed super quick and easily and worked perfectly (I have suction again!). The cost for this unit is a great value, even if it only lasts half as long as the last one. THE BAD: Nothing really BAD, however, I do wish the hose was the same length as the original, instead of slightly longer. It sags a bit when in the upright position, so it doesnt look as clean. And, the plastic definitely feels cheap, compared to the factory part. As others have shown in their reviews, I wont be surprised if/when the release tab breaks off. But, so far, so good.

I like that it fit my vacumm and was very easy to install and the price was decent, The only thing I did not like was the fact that the first one did not arrive and I had to send a replacement so it took long then expected.

I love that I works with my otherwise perfectly good vacuum cleaner. Rather than having to buy a new vacuum when the hose broke I was able to get a new hose that works perfectly and don’t have to go out and buy a whole new vacuum.

It’s perfect and the extra length of hose is perfect
