I purchased one of these (under a different listing) two years and five months ago. Worked fine. I needed it since I needed more USB ports on my then-new M1 Mac mini. Nothing special. Did its job. Then a few days ago, the mini started doing whats been called the pink screen of death. The computer crashes, shows an all-pink screen and reboots itself. I did some research and found out the USB chain might be at issue. Well, as soon as I disconnected the RSHTECH 7-port USB hub, the computer went back to normal. So, if youre okay with paying about a dollar a month, until the unit (with a 30-day warranty, I believe) inevitably fails, go ahead, get it. Me, Im going shopping for a higher-quality unit with a longer included warranty.

This was perfect for adding multiple devices to my Legends Ultimate.

I purchased this because I was having issues wity the USB ports on my desktop and my kids love to play on our Virtual Reality device and for some reason, whenever we directly connected to the PCd USB ports, it would be so sensitive to sny movement. So I got this and BOOM problem solved! Not only does it support being connected to the Oculus Quest 2, it acts as a perfect alternative to connecting to our PC AND we get extra USB ports to boot,. BONUS! I highly recommend this especially if youre an avid gamer and use your USB ports a lot. Id just add one minor caveat:. Make sure to have an available power outlet cause it does need to be connected to power in order to work.

Add USB ports for temporary or permanent devices. Only one port is necessary to connect to laptop. All devices can connect via this one port. Has easy to view off/on buttons for each of 7 ports.
