My HP AIO came with only 3 USB ports, and with the external Hard drive, sound card it only left me one available for extra mini USB sticks etc. This fills the task perfectly and the lighted extension ports are a godsend if using at night!

This USB hub is super convenient and nice to have. With everything plugging in with USB it’s so nice to have a USB hub to plug in all of the things. This product works very well and is super well made.

This device has several key points to why I gave it 5 stars. 1). It has A/C Power. 2). I can turn off non used devices. Each port has a power button. 3). The 3.0 Data Hub! Its fast to wake up my devices. I was having so much trouble by having a lot of devices on the old USB extender. This one device resolved a lot of my issues. My printers wake up so much faster. I am a Apple Mac user. Extremely happy with the upgrade.

My ham shack computer is a vintage Microsoft Surface Pro (yes, the original model) with just a single USB 2.0 port, into which I had plugged a passive USB hub with four outlets with something plugged into all four, including my Yaesu FT-991A radio. Recently I began experiencing a mysterious (and of course, intermittent) condition where when a program controlling the radio told it to transmit, the radio would not receive any transmit audio through the USB cable but simultaneously would lock up in transmit mode, necessitating cycling power to recover control. Reasoning that the Surface Pros USB port might be getting overloaded, I figured that a powered hub would be better, so I ordered this one. Having seven ports is handy, and the LEDs/port power switches are a nice touch. I plugged it into the Surface, plugged in the USB peripherals, and everything worked right away. Only had it a couple of days now, but so far so good - no radio lockups yet and no issues with any of the USB devices plugged into it.

Works as promised, I like having an on/off switch per port Wish that the USB cable was a little longer than the one provided.

No issues so far, I like the tactile toggle switches on this. Overall good. I was skeptical of the lower amperage wall plug but Ive had no issues thus far, and mines maxed out.

Exactly what I needed to set up my laptop as a desktop when working from home. Each input has a button and lights up when on, which is convenient. Great value.
