Works really well. I use it as a secondary method of filtration in my goldfish tank, (although many people use it exclusively in theirs). Easy to clean, easy to install, even though it did not come with any English instructions. Very happy with it.

Works great for an axolotyl. Didnt notice a change in nitrates in my goldfish tank from it. I used a 40gal filter in my 20gal tank

Im running two of these in my 40 gallon breeder and one in my 75 gallon along with a canister filter. I can honestly say theyre perfect for the job, but I can tell with the fine foam theyre not going to work unless theyre cleaned every few weeks. I think theyre perfect for polishing water and definitely larage enough to have a meaningful biological load, but Im going to run a more course sponge along with one of these in my 40 gallon.

These are just what they appear to be. Work great at a fraction of the price others want to charge you. Will be buying more when the two we have need replacing.

I really like using these in our fresh water aquariums. Change out about every 6 months. Does a good job filtering and good bio filter will build up. Arrived very quickly. Good price, cheap filtration solution if already have an air pump on hand too. And so much quieter than our hang on back filter. Using in a 40 gallon with beta sorority, some tiny schooling fish, some snails and small bottom feeders; not a terrible bio-burden so this works nicely.

The is a really good sponge filter at an every better price than anywhere else. I use it for my breeder aquariums when raising newly hatched baby fish fry, as other filters will kill the new baby fish. Works well and the sponge contains your bio.
