> 24 hourHad to purchase this 3M adhesive attachment for the vantrue camera because the suction cup that came with the camera to mount constantly kept falling off when it was really hot. So far Ive had this for over 6 months and not once has it fallen from my windshield. I prefer the 3M adhesive mount than the suction cup. I also feel like it shakes the camera less than the suction cup so views are a lot easier to view to the eye.

> 24 hourThe suction holder that came with the dash cam was not very good at staying on. So I got this with GPS. Only the dash cam stopped working after 1 week. On top of this breaking as well. Poor design.

> 24 hourOften these things fall of the glass when it’s hot. This stays put pretty well. I do remove it when parked in public though because I don’t want me car broken into.

> 24 hourthe suction part is not working properly, you must have this if you want the dash cam to stay in place, without it it keeps falling off all the time.

> 24 hourI got this because my wife got tired of the original suction cup mount that came with the camera falling off her windshield. My whole family has the same camera and all have the same criticism. I with the manufacturer supplied this adhesive mount with the camera and ditched the suction cup mount. Now I have to buy three more of these adhesive mounts which is a significant added cost to create a robust system.

> 24 hourMuch stronger than the suction cups and it comes with an additional adhesive bracket. GPS not required to use.

> 24 hourIt is a deceiving option of VanTrue. Supposedly, VanTrue can build the unit with GPS. However, it may extend the size of the unit which may prevent it to compete with other brands in terms of styling and compact ability. The one which I hate the most is it pushes the camera lower since we need the upper portion to stick this GPS module. Next issue is the port is only available on the right, while the wiring for back camera is on the left. It complicated the wiring angles. The area around the camera is now crowded with 2 USB-C Cables. Ideally, you should provide two ports for the GPS - one is on the left and one is on right. Next, you can slim down the size or at a minimum you can reduce the diameter of the adhesion area. Well, nothing is perfect. Overall, if I have to setup this camera again, I would omit this GPS module.

> 24 hourI do like this mount but should come with the camera rather than being a separate purchase. Some quirks though that I had to knock a star off for. First is it can be tricky to remove the dashcam from this mount. There is a release tab that should let it slide off but takes a lot of manipulation to get it to finally break free. Second may be related to the geometry of my vehicles windshield but the cable for the rear camera that plugs into the top of the camera is put into a stressed position due to the short distance between the camera and the glass. The cable has to make are hard 90° angle right after the plug because its come in contact with the windshield. While I like the stable mounting offered by using the adhesive strip, Id like to have a suction cup option as well. It could add just enough clearance to make up for the cable strain issue above while also making it possible to relocate the camera in those rare occasions its needed. I know thats a double edged sword since they tend to start legging go after time but having it as an extra options would be helpful.

> 24 hourBought this as an addon for my N4, the original suction cup never budged so I never had a issue. Was abit afraid since this is just a adhesive and in TX it regularily gets very hot. In a situation youd worry it would fling off. But so far its not budged since I applied it and no issues with attaching to N4 using GPS.

> 24 hourThis is a must-have upgrade to your camera. Make sure you completely clean the window with rubbing alcohol and a lint free cloth prior to application, as once it touches the window its not coming back off.
