Vera Bradley Womens Cotton Large Cosmetic Makeup Organizer Bag

Great bag as expected from Vera Bradley. Super well made, looks good and everyone I show it to loves it.

This is a very large, well made bag that is quite versatile and can be used for lots of things other than cosmetics. The recycled cotton fabric is soft but durable and the bag is lightly padded due to the lovely quilting. I ordered the Butterfly By pattern to match my tote and weekender bags. The design features large, colorful abstract butterflies against a variegated sky blue background -- very cheerful and summery. The fabric lining the bag features small butterflies scattered on a navy background which contrasts very nicely with the exterior of the bag. The bag is simply organized (at least in comparison to most VB bags). The large zippered main compartment is also lined with clear plastic to protect against leaks or spills from cosmetics or skin care products. As another reviewer mentioned, the sturdy clear lining also makes this bag ideal for carrying a wet or damp swimsuit or other clothing. The zipper wraps around the sides to make it easy to access the interior. It is nylon with a metal heady and ribbon pull tab extender. The curved pocket on the front of the bag is generously sized but does not feature the clear plastic lining and is great for smaller items. The zipper for the pocket is similar to the one for the main compartment -- both operate smoothly. The bag is well made and very sturdy. This bag has no handles or carrying straps, so it really isnt designed to be carried solo even though it is as large as many purses. I like the size, shape and simplicity of this bag, and I do think it would be a nice feature if this did have a removable strap but I suppose there are lots of other VB bags that already fill this niche. This is so large, that I intend to use it my luggage for travel. The current price of $40.00 seems a bit high to me, but the quality is top-notch and it does fit in the price range of other brand offerings.

It’s actually bigger than I expected. I love this bag! It’s so nice to have a Cotten bag. I’ll throw it in the washer but let it air dry because of the plastic.

I love Vera Bradley bags for their quality, softness, and durability, so I was excited to find this make up bag/travel toiletry case. The print is pretty and inside there is a different print. The bag is really large so you can fit tons of makeup or toiletries inside easily for travel or for every day use. The bag has a large main compartment and a smaller compartment for eyebrow pencils, lip glosses or lipstick in the front. The zippers operate smoothly and the whole bag is stitched wonderfully. Inside the bag is a plastic vinyl type material that protects the fabric in case of spills. While I like that idea and it makes it easy to wipe so the fabric part doesnt get stained, the plastic material moves around and bunches a lot. Overall, a great bag for travel and storing makeup and very well made.

The Vera Bradley Womens Recycled Cotton Large Cosmetic Makeup Organizer Bag is by far the best quality large makeup bag I have found. The quality recycled materials, the workmanship, and great zippers all stand up to the expectations of any product from Vera Bradley. They have built a company that produces products I can count on. This is a large bag and the main section is lines with a heavy duty plastic that withstands spills and wipes clean. This bag is machine washable. I lay flat to dry and it comes out looking brand new. This bag is better suited to carrying toiletry items for me. I travel a lot and this is a go to bag for all my non liquids that aren’t makeup. I do use a smaller Vera Bradley cosmetic bag for all my makeup. In a market saturated with mediocre products this is a stand out product that will last for years. The pattern is light and goes with most anything. I like the switch to using recycled cotton. A nod to doing something nicer for our planet always makes me look a little closer at a company and their products. This is a solid product line and no matter the pattern, its a winner in design, functionality, cost, and quality.
