It takes those bugs right off your cars grill. Luckily I no longer live in an area with love bugs, so I cannot speak to its effectiveness in that scenario.

Works as described

Picks up bugs super well! Spray some bug and tar remover then wipe with this sponge and you will get just about every stuck bug on your paint. Have used for several washes with no problems.

doesnt work, make scrachts

I use this only on my front bumper and windshield for bugs and what not. Seems just aggressive enough to to get through those things but I dont use it all over, just the tough stuff. Im pretty picky about my car, too. Id buy again.
