This sponge was pretty effective at removing bugs from my car. I had to apply a little elbow grease to get them to come off, but the sponge didnt scratch the car as far as I could tell. It helps to soak the car a bit before trying to remove the bugs. The sponge was easy enough to hold because of its size.

I use this only on my front bumper and windshield for bugs and what not. Seems just aggressive enough to to get through those things but I dont use it all over, just the tough stuff. Im pretty picky about my car, too. Id buy again.
