Vilros Raspberry Pi 4 8GB with USB-C & Micro HDMI Adapters Quickstart Guide E-Book (8GB)

At first boot up nothing was shown, tried to use my old pi sd card still nothing. check the Raspb website and it stated the fix of Pi 4 if no boot, used that and it worked. Now it works fine. Was scared a bit when the thing refused to boot.

This is a basic starter kit. If you have a lot of bits and pieces lying around your house this kit will have everything else you need to get the Pi up and running, if you dont you will need to come up with your own memory card, power supply and HDMI cable. They provide an HDMI converter so any standard HDMI cable will work. For a memory card, I prefer 64GB myself, but anything 16G or bigger will work (You could use 8GB, but I wouldnt). The only key with larger cards is that they MUST be formatted as FAT16 or FAT32 or your PI cannot boot from them. Some SD card format programs will not do that, so be careful. Other than that you can download the software as mentioned in their ebook if you are new to the PI and following the directions you should be up and running in about 30 minutes total. This is a good no frills kit, if you are looking for a kit that provides everything you need or maybe want to media streaming center, there are kits available that may be a better choice for you.

The Raspberry pi Does not work I thought at first it was the HDMI adapter I ordered a new one and still does not work very disappointed and the heat sink did not stick on they fell of by them self when I buy a product I expect the product to work now I have to return it and wait to get another one extremely disappointed a huge waste of time and money never buy from you again

Nice kit, everything works perfectly. Unfortunately I purchased the wrong variant, with 2GB instead of 4GB of RAM - it doesnt matter right now, its fine, but Ill probably be a little sad about it in 2 years or so.

Expensive for the price. There are better deals if you look around

A true basic desktop replacement

Everything was as described in the package. Was supposed to be a few weeks later but came in way early!!!

Unfortunately, the Pi 4 I received was the old 1.1 version, not the new 1.2 version with the corrections to the USB-C port. PITA to find USB-C cables that work correctly.

Was able to achieve near 1Gbs speed on the ethernet port . USB 3 ports also high speed.
