Birdy doesnt really use it, its pretty good quality, Id buy it again. Im going to keep it in birdys cage and see if he begins to use it, but so far, nothing.

My budgie just uses the swing to get from one location to the other. I would not keep the one with the chain in his cage.

My birds havent used this item yet..I like it thou.

Metal of the chains appears to be made of zinc - its definitely not stainless steel nor aluminum. Do not use if your bird chews metal.

My cockatiel used to have a coconut hut to sleep in, but she would poop all over the inside and it would get pretty gross everyday. I grew tired of the excess cleaning so we stopped using it. This is much easier to clean as 90% of her droppings fall through the spaces between the bars. She loves sleeping on it and resting her tail on the elevated curved surface.

My cockatiel got its wing tangled in the metal chain and found him hanging and scared to death!!! Thank God it was day time and we seen it right away and not at night when we were sleeping!!! Would NOT recommend!!!! :(
