> 24 hourI received it in the mail already charged up. I listened to it for about 10 min than put it on the charger over night, just to be sure it was fully charged the next day. As I listened to it the next day it would frequently bog down like the batteries were about to die but then it would pick back up to normal sound. This happened within the first hour of listening. Ill try reaching out to the company tomorrow. Ill keep you posted with the results

> 24 hourAmazing speaker, I had the D8 and the D9 is the same thing but better, the only things I liked better the D8, was the strap over the handle, and the EQ options, the way the D8 was it had a balanced mode, then an outdoor mode with was much louder but it had some distortion, so it was either quality or volume, the way the D9 is, is high bass as the normal mode, and a high treble mode, the high bass is the only one I use, because it sounds great and is really good and loud, as for the high treble mode, it’s pretty garbage, the bass sounds way to flat, and the treble is way to high and ear piercing, the difference is, the Bass mode / normal mode, sounds real, but as for the high treble mode, it sounds like you are listening to it through an old walkie talkie, so overall awesome speaker but I prefer the balanced and then loud EQ options over the new high bass and high treble, as for the battery it takes a long time to charge but it last for a very long time, a third of the time longer than the D8. Update* So over a year and a half has past, the original speaker still works perfectly and I love been using almost daily in my Jeep which is loud, I decided to buy another finally to pair it, it turns out they only sell the D9-1 which has the updated firmware, so you can’t pair them together, my plan was to buy another D9–1 until I compared it to my old D9, so in treble EQ Mode, the D9 it essentially removes all the bass so I never use it, and D9-1 actually has a decent balance in treble mode, but in bass mode the D9 Sounds amazing, it has heavy bass but not to much so the treble and mids sound crisp and clear, but the D9-1 the bass mode has so much bass it drowns everything else out and sounds muffled, this speaker is phenomenal, but the new firmware has terrible balancing in the EQ, which ruins the sound, now yes you can use the treble mode and the D9-1 sounds great, but not as good as the normal D9 in bass mode, it just has a better balance, a bit disappointed with all that but overall this speaker has been through hell and back and if I cleaned it up you’d think it’s brand new.

> 24 hourIt does exactly what I wanted it to do, which is drown out the music/voice of my super annoying coworker. The battery life is pretty good. The sound is great.
