Wesco Pet Mini Bird Kabob Shreddable Bird Toy

Ideal for my Double Yellow Amazon. She absolutely loves it. I have purchased this item numerous times and will continue to do so.

I read many peoples nice review because I bought my bird but he was panic and fly away from that toy. but in few hours later he was start to close to toy but still not play or bite yet. fast shipping and looks big than i thought because i rate 3stars .

The birds really like these, but this one went faster than most, didn’t even last a week.

One of my budgies absolutely loves chewing her way through these blocks of wood. She chews threw the bottom, then the side holes, and basically hollows the thing out. Its a great art project for her. They are very soft wood, which means they dont last. I just bought my second one recently. Luckily theyre cheap, and worth the cost for how much my bird loves going to town on it. One weird thing I noticed, probably just bird-specific, but she didnt touch the toy when it was hanging in her cage for a week or so. Once i took the wood out of the cage and laid it down on a table nearby, she started taking more notice of it. So dont get discouraged if your bird doesnt like it at first; give them time.

Once my birdies discovered they could chew this to pieces they were hooked. However you have to be careful about it getting wet ( if your birds bathe near it ) I believe that was the cause of some scary growth that i began to notice on one of the kebob rings. Fortunately it was only a small portion on one section that had growth on it so i was able to take a knife to it and cut off the bad part. After that I have not seen any more growth on it but you really need to check it before letting them have at it.

My cockatiel loves to chew on these kabobs birds need a lot of different things to keep them occupied and they love to shred things and this helps them stay busy and not get bored. These kabobs are well made and came very quickly

Scooter, my sons cockatoo, loved this Wesco shreddable toy so much that once he started pecking at it, he couldnt stop. After about an hour of constant action it was totally gone! I will order this again soon but next time I will only allow him at the toy for 15 mins. at a time so it will last longer.

The parakeets were scared of it at first but after a while, they got close to it. One of the two started playing with it for a bit. Update: Aug. 2, 2015 Parakeets are enjoying this. They have shredded one piece and about half of two other pieces. I think Ill buy this again when they finish shredding it to pieces.

My birds tear these things up. They love to chew and this is the perfect toy.
