> 24 hourAt one time, I have mounted a canon 500mm f4 lens, a pro DSLR body, 1 extension tube, 1 teleconverter, 1 speedlite wireless transmitter, 1 speedlite, better beamer, and an off-camera flash bracket on this side mount. And it has handled the weight of all this equipment with ease. highly recommended for anyone pursuing wildlife photography seriously.

> 24 hourGreat head, and very agile. The only issue I have with it is packing it. It takes up a tremendous amount of space, and is cumbersome. I have taken it on trips, but have found it more convenient to stow it separately from the rest of my equipment in the box that it was shipped in. I will have to figure out a way to travel with the head more effortlessly.

> 24 hourThis is the head to have with a large, heavy lens. Easy, incredibly smooth motion, easy to clamp down. Pricey but worth the money. I wouldnt like to use a 500mm or 600mm lens without it.

> 24 hourI bought this to rest my 600mm Nikon on and now I can move it around with no effort at all which lets me focus on my subject . Well made top notch product. I now use it for all my heavy glass. 200/2,300/2.8

> 24 hourIm using this with a 500mm lens and flash using various Wimberley brackets and adapters. Its awesome and highly recommended but Im docking a star for two small issues... 1) with my new, lighter weight 500mm lens and attached flash and extender I cannot get a perfect balance. I suspect the issue is that the center of gravity is a bit high even with the clamp all the way down. If the arm was an inch or so longer I think balance could be achieved. All that said, its not *bad* its just not perfect. 2) this is nit-picky but the action is not as smooth as it might be, Im sure due to the bearing system used. You could argue you dont want a friction-less system with all that expensive gear swinging around, but Id like to be able to control that with a tension adjustment.

> 24 hourTop-shelf piece of equipment. Sturdy, silent, smooth operation. A bit pricey, but I got what I paid for.

> 24 hourI owned a WH-200 version I so I knew this gimbal mount would be fantastic. It is is expensive relative to some of the mounts you can find in its class but the construction and simplicity of the units design make it worth it. It is very easy to adjust and silky smooth to operate. It is difficult to imagine a more elegant and functional design. Just get it and youll see what I mean.

> 24 hourI was a little hesitant to purchase this because of the price. After using this for several months I cant believe that I hadnt purchased this until now. The smoothness in tracking wildlife with an 800mm lens isnt comparable to anything Ive used before. Precision product and incredibly well built. It is a real value at the price. I highly recommend to anyone looking to shoot wildlife or sports action with long lenses.
