The FWD and REV switch was upside down, I noticed it after making silly mistakes by cutting my whip too short. I was trying to cancel my order but seller did not return my e-mails, that is the only reason I removed two star other that that the seller is great. Quick delivery.

Sometimes it will not register full deflection upon setup. Maybe goes 70% toward set (far right on meter). Also, the distance between the CB radio and the meter changes the setup deflection. So even when setup appears to work properly, I cannot be sure SWR is correct. Sometimes the initial calibration to set only goes 3/4 the way to the far right of the meter even w/knob turned full clockwise. Normal? Joe answered: Nope, not normal. Get a replacement.

Wanted to go cheap because I wind up losing them after the first use. However, this one is pretty much low quality and I would suggest a better unit unless you plan to throw it away after use.

Im new to the world of CB radios, and after doing some research, I understand that I need an SWR to make sure that my antenna is of the correct length to optimize my CBs performance. I assume (havent actually used it yet) that the meter will work as advertised. However, for newbies like me: note in the picture that there is no patch cable. In order to use this device, youre going to have to find one to connect between your radio and the meter. Many of these come with the patch cable, but this one doesnt. Not deceptive on anyones part, but itd have been nice to know beforehand.
