Workman SWR Meter for CB Radio Antennas SWR2T

Couple things. Made in China starting me in the face when I opened package was a sick, so I wore a mask. Lol. Just kidding. The meter arrived in perfect condition, works perfect. Ive tried others and they seen to not have accurate readings.

Works as expected

Its hard to say you love something when all it does is a simple job and nothing else. It seems to be well made, and it is simple to operate.

This is a good little tester. It helped me diagnose a SWR problem I was having with my CB. I discovered that I had a bad antenna. A bad antenna brand new out of the box. Who would have thought? Anyway, my CB works great now because of this little tester. Highly recommended.

After buying several CBs and antennas, (one set for a base station for our house, and several sets for both cars), we decided to get more communication distance by tuning the antennas. This meter is smaller than thought ( pic of meter in wifes hand) but it tuned the antennas well. (Money wise, I found out later we could’ve bought this meter for $6 less on a small business website). Make sure you buy a cable also (to hook to your CB— a 3’ one reached the CB radios in our cars from the meter set on the seat ). You can watch a couple of videos online to instruct yourself on using the meter, just google “tuning your CB with a SWR meter.”

Small and convenient

Wanted to go cheap because I wind up losing them after the first use. However, this one is pretty much low quality and I would suggest a better unit unless you plan to throw it away after use.

Unit works ok but one of the coax connection on the back is too small to thread on to. I used some shim metal to take up the slop in the threads. For the price it will do.

simple unit. dont forget to buy a jumper cable since this doesnt come with one.

Works well enough to do the job.
