This lock is pretty easy to put on. I think its a little less cumbersome than the club-style locks. The cable is very sturdy. I dont think anyone is going to bother to try to cut the cable. Theyd have better luck cutting through the steering wheel instead. I dont know of any add-on steering wheel lock that couldnt be defeated by cutting through the steering wheel. So, the point of these is to make your car a little less attractive than the one next to it. And, the bright red sleeve on the cable calls attention to this lock and hopefully makes the would-be move on. I have plenty of room to get into the car and release the lock after Im in the seat. And, I can easily lock it before leaving the seat when leaving the car Since the release mechanism consists of inserting the key and unlocking a rod that pushes down to release the seatbelt lock button, I was a little concerned that this might be a point of failure or difficult to manage. But, its not. The rod that presses down on the seat belt button to release the lock, is fairly wide and solidly contacts the button.

I really like how easy this is to use. I have a 2020 ford f150, one of the most stolen vehicles in America. It’s nice to know this simple device makes it much more difficult to steal. Goes on and off in seconds and there isn’t anyway to get through it easily. Do yourself a favor and get this for your vehicle. My seats aren’t Audi adjust to a profile when I get in so there isn’t any tugging on my steering wheel.

Im going to use this to lock my golf cart when out to dinner, etc. The lock fits perfectly in my (standard) set belt locks. There is plenty of room to loop the cable around the steering wheel, then lock in the seat belt lock. Cable is quite thick, and this should provide enough of a deterrent to move on to another golf cart if someone is looking to steal one. When off, it doesnt take up much room and can be stashed in a reasonable sized compartment. The key to the lock is quite big (about the size of a car key), so its a somewhat bulky addition to the key chain. Also, the unlock process of pushing the button while turning the key takes a bit of practice.

Item is pretty solid. But the only issue is, thiefs aint dumb. In every seat belt clipp there is a screw you can easily unscrew which is located below the clip. with a wrench or grip, than can loosen it up & take your car. Is that easy. I suggest getting a club to along with this product.

I brought this for my Kia and it works great. It’s not bulky like a club, but works great. Comes with three keys.

It took a second to figure out how to undo the lock. It installs easily and can be easily removed and placed on the passenger side floor when not in use. I chose the red color, it comes with 3 keys. I purchased this item as a second system for myself and my car. I have a car alarm, but my job requires that I travel and complete paperwork in my car. I can easily plug/unplug this wheel lock in while I am completing that paperwork. I will carry the key for this lock on my person and/or hide a key in the car. My fear is to be car jacked while I am distracted. My idea is while the person is trying to figure out the lock, I can get away. My friends have pointed out that a seatbelt can be cut, but I figure it will take some effort and a sharp tool. It is too much work and time for many thieves, and they will probably give up. (I recently viewed a news report where a thief was caught after having to deal with a wheel lock and wanted to try one out.) Ill just say it, because I thought about it, maybe you did too. The lock has some weight. It is strong and the bike chain ropes are thick. It can be used defensively in an emergency, BUT you will probably hurt yourself, it is long and floppy. I strongly suggest to only use it as a wheel lock to deter or slow down criminals.

I like the lock. My only problem is that when the weather is cold, it becomes very stiff and difficult to bend.
