Im going to use this to lock my golf cart when out to dinner, etc. The lock fits perfectly in my (standard) set belt locks. There is plenty of room to loop the cable around the steering wheel, then lock in the seat belt lock. Cable is quite thick, and this should provide enough of a deterrent to move on to another golf cart if someone is looking to steal one. When off, it doesnt take up much room and can be stashed in a reasonable sized compartment. The key to the lock is quite big (about the size of a car key), so its a somewhat bulky addition to the key chain. Also, the unlock process of pushing the button while turning the key takes a bit of practice.

This worked perfectly for my Toyota Camry. It is a little tight, but if I continue to use it, it will loose up. Its very easy to install. I love the bright color too. This is a must if you park outside of your garage.

Great idea and easy to use. Lock your steering wheel to your seat belt buckle with a key and keep your car. Easy to use, to install, and seems to work. I would have liked it in all black though, because I think the colors catch the eye of anyone wanting to steal. I would like something less conspicuous. Make it hard for a thief to take your car, but also don’t advertise that you have a lock. Some thieves take the appearance of locks as a challenge. If they cant see the deterrence before hand, they cant plan to steal. Actually, one of the best ways to stop a thief from taking your car is to take the fuses out that start your car and anything like them. It’s more work but if they can’t go anywhere, they aren’t going to take it. Nice product and works so far.

Great ideas. Solid construction. The male price that goes into the anchor portion does not fit well and marred the plastic housing of my seat belt. Had a couple other people try to be sure it wasnt me. Nope. The bell housing is too small. I drive an suv so you may not have the issue. Otherwise I did not have the lock / unlock issues reported in other reviews. Locking and unlocking was easy.

This lock is pretty easy to put on. I think its a little less cumbersome than the club-style locks. The cable is very sturdy. I dont think anyone is going to bother to try to cut the cable. Theyd have better luck cutting through the steering wheel instead. I dont know of any add-on steering wheel lock that couldnt be defeated by cutting through the steering wheel. So, the point of these is to make your car a little less attractive than the one next to it. And, the bright red sleeve on the cable calls attention to this lock and hopefully makes the would-be move on. I have plenty of room to get into the car and release the lock after Im in the seat. And, I can easily lock it before leaving the seat when leaving the car Since the release mechanism consists of inserting the key and unlocking a rod that pushes down to release the seatbelt lock button, I was a little concerned that this might be a point of failure or difficult to manage. But, its not. The rod that presses down on the seat belt button to release the lock, is fairly wide and solidly contacts the button.

I mounted a cover for comfort on my steering wheel and the original steering wheel lock no longer fits. This looked as if the size of the grip on the steering wheel didnt matter. It doesnt and its easy to use. You just wrap it through a gap on the wheel and take the other end and click it into the seat belt buckle just like a seat belt. Reaching the seat belt buckle required a bit of a pull as the cable is so stiff but there was no problem. It unlocks just like you unfasten your seat belt: by pushing down on the button. In this case, the button is locked so you have to turn the key and then push down and lift it off. The only negative is minor: at 20°F (-7°C) the cable gets really stiff giving a bit of a workout to remove or put on. 5 Stars

It was easy to figure out how to use. I use it to lock my steering wheel every time that I park my car for the night. It is easy to lock and unlock. No problems. I use this along with a steering wheel Club. I cant imagine why some are having problems with it. Unless they are not remembering to: after inserting the key into the lock, press down on the key and it will engage the lock, and then just turn the key to one side and pull UP on the lock to release the mechanism. Once you understand that, it takes approximately 3 seconds to unlock and remove the mechanism.

Item is pretty solid. But the only issue is, thiefs aint dumb. In every seat belt clipp there is a screw you can easily unscrew which is located below the clip. with a wrench or grip, than can loosen it up & take your car. Is that easy. I suggest getting a club to along with this product.
