> 3 dayI got this gallon sized Yeti for my English Mastiff to keep his water cold on long trips and it worked perfectly when traveling from CT to GA! I compared it with other ones a little cheaper and found that some comparable but cheaper ones were reviewed and said to be rusting, so I paid a little more for the confidence I have in Yeti products. Very happy with my decision!

12-04-2025I’m a excavator operator and I’d just buy the gallons at 7/11. But by 11 the waters already warm and nobody likes drinking warm water when you’re working hard. Probably best purchase I’ve done in a while. Now I’m drinking about 2 gallons a day, get lots of compliments as well. And I’m sure you can use it for self defense lol. I love it!

> 3 dayLove this Gallon Yeti! has twist off top with wide opening enough to be able to put your hand in and clean! Like that the small drinking cap is magnetic! sticks to the top while you pour or drink from it. Im loving the Yellow color too!

> 3 dayBefore buying this product more than three years ago, I was drinking from plastic water bottles or refilling plastic gallon jugs of water. Despite the gallon jugs being HDPE, I started to notice a stinging in my throat from the plastic degrading or something after dozens of refills. Then came along this purchase, and it has been nothing short of perfect. Its easy to clean, easy to drink from (once you figure out a way to hold it, and assuming you dont mind the funny looks you get), and keeps water cold for an incredible length of time. From a full refill with a layer of ice cubes on top, the rambler kept the water ice cold for as long as it took for me to drink it all, around 18 hours. Mind you, it was a good bit of ice, but also the sheer size of the rambler allows it to have a large vacuum-insulated space surrounding it, which is how it keeps things so cold. I cannot comment on how it performs for hot beverages or stews or that kind of thing, as Ive only ever used it for cold water. Cleaning is a breeze as the large mouth of the rambler with its lid removed is more than sufficient to reach my whole hand and arm inside. One thing Ive found a little tricky to clean are the threads of the screw-on lid for the spout. Soaking it a little and then scraping with a paper towel seems to do the trick well enough though. And for anyone who has trouble getting the whole top off of the rambler (believe me, I did too for quite a while), a good trick is to get it on the counter at chest height, wrap your right arm around the steel body of it, then put your left hand on the vertical part of the handle, thumb at the top at the rubber grip, and the rest of your left hands fingers nearer the handles screw. Then pull your left hand leftwards while your right hand/arm keeps the body of the jug stationary. The lid should come off with some force applied.

16-04-2025Came without a cap on it, disappointing but it doesn’t take away from the yeti itself, just poor shipping.

> 3 dayDont get me wrong, I love this cooler... but I absolutely hate having to refill it. It will keep thing cold for days but what ever genius decided to make it a course thread makes it nearly impossible to open. If you dont tighten it enough it dribbles down your chest like a child but if you tighten it the slightest bit you busting a ba.... trying to open it. Clearly they have not perfected their seal technology but it is too good not to give it a 9 out of 10

> 3 dayI currently have 3 RTIC coolers- the soft day cooler, plus the 20 QT & QT45 QT hard coolers I only have one YETI coffee tumbler I do like RTIC prices better and there quality is pretty good. Ok Lets start off. For Comparison, I got the one gallon jug in White from RTIC and I used that for 2 days. I compared it with with the one gallon jug in yellow from YETI that I used for 2 days. *Biggest thing- The RTIC doesnt hold one gallon. The RTIC only hold about 116oz. The YETI holds 128 oz. So, if you go with the RTIC and trying to drink one gallon a day, youll have to drink 1.5 cups (12oz) more to reach you goal. *Second is leaking- I have the jug in the passenger seat of my truck while Im driving, and the RTIC does leak a little when it falls on its side. I havent seen any leaks from the YETI yet. *Third thing is the weight- RTIC is lighter and smaller that the YETI. RTIC weights about 2.1 lbs while the YETI clocks in at 4.1 lbs. A two pounds difference! So initially, I went with the RTIC because the price was better but I was taken back that it doesnt hold a full gallon as advertised. Being smaller is nice and everything, and its lighter to pick up and carry. Im drinking 1 gallon of water a day, so the fact Ill have to drink more that the RTIC jug isnt good. Also comparing the metal handles, the RTIC seems much more fragile that the sturdier handle of the YETI. My only complaint with the RTIC 20QT hard cooler is the flimsy handle, so it does seem like YETI makes better handles. My justification for keeping the YETI and returning the RTIC: man reason is I want a full gallon to take with me all day and not have to drink extra to meet my goals. YETI has a 5 year warranty so if you break down the price, its like buying a $26 water bottle every year for 5 years. I hope this review was helpful

> 3 dayThis container has very limited practical usage. Yes, it does keep liquids at desired temp for a long time even in direct sun exposure for hours. Yes, its very durable. The fun stops there. I can see this being used for water storage in harsh conditions like construction sites, camping trips, etc. If youre looking to just have it on you for regular use throughout the day, look elsewhere. Its too heavy; carrying it around can be annoying due to weight, and this is coming from a regular gym junkie grown man. Not easy to operate with one hand; this is obvious of course, however due to weight and bulkiness of it, its also cumbersome to have it in your passenger seat in the car and picking it up/putting it down back with one hand at that angle is also annoying. The lid is a HUGE pain in the neck to open up half the time. As all other reviews state, this can be a daunting task which would probably not suit most people. Overall, if you are getting this container for the purpose its intended to, then you will love it and the price tag will be worth it. For casual daily use it probably wont work out. Im going to be returning this and most likely purchasing 2 smaller yeti bottles instead just for the ease of use. Or I may explore other options.

> 3 dayLove it, honestly, was debating if I really needed something like it, but it seriously keeps my water fresh and away from outside influence, unless you treat it like an unwanted child and leave it in the sun in the car with windows up and all, then it will get a bit warm, but not insanely hot, which is cool because it wont scortch while drinking. Just keep it clean routinely and you will love it. Only complaint I have is, I really bwish it came with like a Small sock or rubber base cover as to not be a safety concer to the passers by. Like with the sleeve on its cool, but on the days I do t want the pocket sleeve and want to travel light. A fabric sock or rubber base cover would be great to cover the base and not have to worry so much about where to place it, and accidentally bumping. Also the borrow is prone to scrapes and the like, possiblity of rust too, so would make sense to at least have the option to buy. Instead you could buy a mount for the back of your car. Like wtf is that for buddy. Conventional use please. Thank you.

> 3 dayI only had it for little while and I love it. the only down side is that if you screw it on too tight you need the power of a god to un-screw it but I figured out out how to get a good seal on it with out struggling to un-screw when I need too for re-filling, other than that it is prefect and like youd expect it keeps thing cold or hot for hours at a time and it gets me to drink more water because the water I just there at an arms reach and has no flavor ones you give it a good clean (no strong chemicals as instruction say) and has a magnetic cap holder, worth every penny in my opinion, so in conclusion I love this jug because it gets me thru the enterer day with out worrying about running out of cold water and is super sturdy as well, (can dubbed up as a cooler sense the neck of this jug is big enough to fit a caned beavered)
