What is the size of that machine screw? What are the threads in that nut? Is it metric or SAE?

This set of nut and bolt size/thread gauges covers both English and Metric nuts and bolts. I have a large collection of nuts and bolts and am always guessing what size and type (English or Metric) they are. Now, these gauges alow me to accurately presort the fasteners so it is now an easy task to match up the bolts and nuts I need for my projects. The gauges are made of brass for durability and the sizes are clearly stamped on the body. The gauges are strung on steel cables to keep them neat and organized.

I bought this YOC Bolt Size and Thread Gauge to help me identify the size and thread pitch of nuts and bolts. It is a handy tool that is easy to use and comes with a variety of sizes to cover most applications. I would recommend this tool to anyone who works with nuts and bolts on a regular basis.

I have this set hanging on the shelf of my tool wall. I absolutely LOVE these, in case you hadnt read my title and needed reminding. LOL! Whenever I need to get a thread measurement for a nut or bolt, these gauge checkers are a life saver!!! I used to have to break out the assorted nuts and bolts bin and try to find the elusive nut or bolt that would match up. NOT ANYMORE!!! This set makes quick work of something that would sometimes take me 30 minutes (if it was an oddball size). If youre in the same boat as I was, the you NEED to get this set now. Dont think! Just buy it and thank me later!!!

Of course Ive used gauges at the hardware store, but this is soooo much handier--no more dragging nuts and bolts to the store. I work a lot on cars and motorcycles, and frequently on older models. This is a welcome addition to my tool chest.

If you are anything like me and do some DIY repairs you end up with a selection of oddball nuts, bolts and screws which were left over from a project or spare from assembling something. This makes identifying them easy. Not sure why I didnt buy a set earlier.

A fantastic time saver. This is a great little set that will allow you to easily get the correct thread size for most any common size fasteners youll come across in both metric and standard. You will have the same set thats mounted next to the nut and bolt bins at the hardware store. Now you can walk in knowing what you need, especially for those missing bolts you have nothing else thats close to the size around to go by.

The YOC bolt size and thread gauge is perfect for someone like me who is terrible and guessing the correct size of a bolt or thread. I often take a sample piece to HD and use their in-store guides to establish the correct size. This allows me to figure out the correct size in the workshop and know what is needed for a job. Very sturdy built set of all the most common sizes. I removed one star not for the quality of the product, but I did feel the set is a little overpriced for what you are getting.
