So far so good! Every spring we have a ant problem in/by our cat dish. Its really gross. The other day I noticed a few ants trying to get to the canned cat food, but they werent able to. Ants all around, but looks like none of them could get to the cat food dish. I havent seen the ants back since that day. Im thinking of purchasing another one for the cats dry food dish. These things seem to work so far! Very pleased with my purchase.

This really works. I feed the outdoor cats and ants in the bowls was a big problem. I have used this all summer and never had ants get in the bowl I put on top of it. I would definitely recommend this product.

I see ants going after food the cats have dropped near the plate but none on the plate or near the bowls. Im so happy Im not worrying about their food!!!!

Just a little small

It works. I leave dry food out for a couple of neighborhood cats and this has kept the ants away. One day the bowl got shifted so that it touched the wall of the house and sure enough, the ants were resourceful enough to climb up the wall and into the bowl. Now we are careful to make sure the tray is several inches away from the house. One other thing we did was place the tray on top of an inverted plastic lid. The lid has a trough that we filled with water, like a moat. Its been a foolproof combination.

I always have a problem with ants when it gets hot but this simple platform saves my cats food and water from being invaded. Highly recommend

I held off on the review until i saw it withstand the ant invasions a few times. It worked. No more ants in the dog food bowl. The ants went after the dog food that fell on the floor but were no where on the bowl. Im very satisfied with this item! I wish there was a larger version as well!

This tray is a miracle, so well designed! I leave food out for 2 stray cats and this time of the year ants would always get into it immediately. I have been using this a couple of weeks and have not had any problems with ants. It is a very good buy and highly recommend it for anyone who may have the problem I had, it works great ~~ no water, no chemicals, just have to put the food bowl on the tray.

I live in the tropics where bugs are EVERYWHERE. I’ve struggled to find something that works for my cats food bowls. This plate is a nice height, not too tall, and nice and big so it can fit a larger bowl if you’re feeding multiple cats that share. Haven’t had any ants since switching and I was emptying the food bowl out daily prior to that to get ants out of their dry food.
