This item has solved all my flat iron woes! No more burns on the countertop when I forget to turn it off! No more worrying about it burning my kids while it cools! I used a command hook to hang it on the side of my vanity, and I can just slip in in there as soon as I’m done using it. Love love love!

I thought this would be a cool item to use as a buffer for my flat iron. I am a busy mom and often do my children hair sitting on the couch. This product worked as a great buffer. I dont necessarily use it for storage however but you can and hang it up for convenience which is really cool. I just really use it to protect my surfaces. The silicone is really soft and thickness is perfect!

This was great and larger than I thought it would be. It even fits my large, extra wide flat iron. Its perfect for vacations or if I need to pack it up right away and also keeps my flat iron or curling iron from sliding off of the counter. Just what I needed. I also like the fact that you can close it up so nothing falls out while traveling or storing.

Exactly what I needed and was looking for to hang on my bathroom cart and protect my new marble counter tops. Fits my bionic straightener perfectly.

I tested this with my curling wand as I did my hair sitting on my bed. I didnt place the wand inside, but on top of the silicon mat and that was on top of my mattress. It did let off a slight burnt rubber smell on my first use of it, but the mat didnt burn or melt in any way. Im hoping its just one of those smells that goes away after the initial first few uses. I do like that it has the pocket inside and a hook to hang it from somewhere if you want to. Im knocking off a star because I think it could have done a better job of preventing heat from transferring through the mat to my bed. My sheets and mattress were still significantly hot underneath the mat. Not so hot that Id worry they could catch on fire, but hot enough that I felt was too much and that the mat should have been able to prevent. Other than that, I think its a good mat to protect your surroundings from most of the heat when setting down your hot tools.

I never knew these exsist till a friend showed me hers. Perfect for those days you got to go but your flat iorn not cool all the way, this gives you that piece of mind that you need

So far so good. Well made. Easy to use and super convinient : use it as is or store hot iron when on the run. As its doubles as a holder and a pouch. Recommend as it works and well made

I finially gave up my old version …of what looked like a long pot holder folded in half w Velcro. This one looks like you come prepared in the event you unplug, pack and go.
