I always use a holder for my curling iron and straightener. Theres no waiting around for it to cool down. This one would hold a larger straightener than most. Its 5 1/4 wide and 11 long. It opens up very big! It has vent holes in the sides. Theres a loop on top for hanging. It has a thin rubber piece with round balls in it to pull through a piece with a hole on the other side. This is the closure. I accidentally cut some of the thin piece off when taking the plastic wrapping off. I can still close it but its harder. I dont usually fasten my pouches anyway. I just stick them in there. You can easily wash this in soapy water and towel it dry. The heat from your styling tool will NOT melt this case.

Great to carry around my straightener, and leave on it so i dont damage my counter space with the heat. It does get a bit hot once you remove it, but it cools down in a few minutes - just be careful with handling it.

This was great and larger than I thought it would be. It even fits my large, extra wide flat iron. Its perfect for vacations or if I need to pack it up right away and also keeps my flat iron or curling iron from sliding off of the counter. Just what I needed. I also like the fact that you can close it up so nothing falls out while traveling or storing.

Nice value for money. The straps are very thin.

The only complaint I have is that I had it held up for three days with iron in it when not in use and it broke

I love that I can put the hot iron in the pouch, wrap the cord around it and stick it right under the sink without worrying melting anything it comes in touch with. The light green is very pretty. Great price point. I will definitely take it with me when I travel.

Just hang in your bathroom and you are good to go.

This silcone heat resistant mat is so awesome. I have been needing one for so long because I was constantly burning my bathroom counter top. Now with this mat, I dont have to worry about it. I have had my flat iron super hot and at the highest temperature that it would go, and the mat held up great with it. My flat iron has never burned through it or melted it in anyway. Also, this mat is way better than any regular heat resistant mat because it also has the cool feature of doubling as a pouch. Which helps keep my flat iron clean and dust-free. I also love how convenient it is. When I am done using my flat iron, I can just throw it inside the pouch part, hang it up, and go. I dont have to worry about burning anything. I also dont have to leave it out on the counter anymore to cool down where its possible that my daughter could easily go grab it and burn herself. Safety is very important to us moms. So I definitely recommend this silcone mat / pouch to any moms that have young ones and also use hot hair styling tools.
