Fits the tank nearly perfectly. It has a little bit of give to it that makes it fit even over my water bottle holder.

This fits so perfectly on the top of my 20gal tall and one half is the same size as the light hood. So, I dont have to move anything to lift the other half and nothing hangs off the back.

You get what you pay for. It is made from cheap materials. It also arrived bent and filthy but there was no damage to the box, so my guess is that it was shipped damaged. I was able to rinse it off and bend it back into position enough to make it work for my purposes. It wasnt bad enough to put forth the effort of returning it, but I dont think Ill order from this seller again.

This is an ok lid for the money....however on a 55 gal tank there is not any support other than the edges so when u put your light on it sags ..thank god for the center tank support or the lid may have caved in..also a pain cause of the center hinge runs the length of tank so every time u need to open u have to remove HOT lights heating emmiters ect...just akward should have had a center brace and the option to open either side or both

my first one came with a hole in it. though the second one fits secure. still removing a star since the first one had a hole and has me concerned for the long run.
