> 3 dayThis lasted 5 months before the latch broke and the snake got out. I liked the easy access but the opening was a bit small. I had trouble getting things in and out without taking the whole lid off.

Greater than one weekI really like this screen cover. It’s all metal so you can put your heat lamps right on top of it. I don’t use clamps since ours is for a Pac man frog, but if you have a snake or other escape prism critter, I’d recommend the clamps to secure the top.

> 3 dayIve had it for a few months and worked very well, eased my anxiety about opening an enclosure with a very fast and flighty lizard inside. I believe this product will work very well for you and last you a long time if you get one that wasnt as flimsy as mine. Idk if it was the glue on the knob or what, but it broke and I now have to rest something heavy on the door so that my lizard doesnt open it from the inside. :( Very annoying and I dont want to risk buying another one for it to happen again lol

> 3 dayThe screen cover itself seems sturdy and fits well- 5 stars. But the door and latch are flimsy, cheap, and not suitable for snakes. One- the latching piece hits the top edge of the tank, and cannot be completely latched with the cover on the tank. Off the tank, it works, but…., Two- one latch in the center of a flimsy door? Whoever designed this has never had snakes. It’s way too easy to push one corner up far enough for a snake to get his head through- and if he gets his head through, he’s gone. My corn snakes have gotten out this way. There has to be a latch at each corner, or the door has to be stiff enough so that it can’t twist. A heavy weight over the door might work too, but that pretty much defeats the convenience of having the door there at all. UPDATE- Theres an easy fix. Bend the door up slightly at the center so the latch is slightly preloaded. The latch works much better, and the corners of the door won’t lift up. No more escapes!

> 3 dayI’m very satisfied with my purchase. It does what it has to do. The little door makes it super easy fo me to feed and pet my iguana.

Greater than one weekWell it is now only May 21, 2019 FOUR MONTHS later and the lock piece came apart in my hand. I’m looking at having to buy a whole new one AGAIN. This is not worth it. I might look into another company instead. It fit pretty good. A little loose but not bad. Not all tanks are exactly alike and I understood that when I got it. It’s close enough to work on any tank this size. It’s great. Our tarantula Dobby enjoys his new bigger home.

> 3 dayI will answer my own question, which I submitted here to others. YES it does fit a 37gallon tall glass aquarium. It fits more securely on the edges than the plain screen top that I bought from my local pet shop. Now I can add insects to my lizard terrarium without sliding the whole top off. One of my lizards was able to slip under the ill fitting edge of the top i had before this one. This top fits more snugly. I am very happy with it. The little door has a latch on it to keep Curious Kitty Cats out.
