I bought these because I needed something to stick on the side of a filing cabinet to hold all my personal stuff in my work office. These suckers are STRONG. I feel strongly that they can hold the 30lbs that they advertise though I have not personally tried it. You have to slide the hook or tug really hard to get the magnet off. I have used these hooks to hold up a bookbag (holding a laptop and a about 2lbs of paperwork/journal). One hook was used to hold my purse (which may feel like 10lbs but is probably only 3). Overall, very happy with these hooks though my disclaimer is that I have not personally gotten close to their weight limit.

These types of products are often given bad ratings, but we did not have any problems with what we use them for. Would I try to hang a 100lb item from it? Given the type of item it is, I would not expect to be able to, as it would be tough to get it off a wall. I havent tried using them to hold any tools in my shop, however, we used them on a cruise and it worked well, holding garments we unpacked while letting wrinkles fall out. The most I had on one at a time was a suit and a rain slicker. Later, I used it to hold a very wet, heavy beach towel. We had some heavy seas and they did not slip or slide so no damage to the wall surface.

This says holds 100 pounds. No true. Two wouldn’t even hold my purse up.

I have a tiny pad and tons of cooking items. This holds up my wok, other pots, pans, extra utensils, and emergency fire blanket on my metal shelf. I even use it to play a toss game from my vents : ) got to get creative in small spaces.

Magnet is very strong. Hooks are heavy duty and can unscrew if necessary.

I use these primarily for key hooks. I imagine you could use them in a variety of ways. Potholders, etc. Unlike other magnets youll find on Amazon, youll be able to pull these off the fridge or any other metal surface without hurting yourself.

These magnetic hooks are heavy duty! I wanted to hang my grill utensils out with my grill, and they are solving that problem for me
