The 100lb hooks work well for hanging things from the ceiling in a cruise room stateroom. As others have mentioned, the 100lb rating is the best case scenario in a lab setting. These hooks are easy to remove by pulling at an angle to the surface. Works well for hanging backpacks, hats, bags, etc. from the ceiling. Use 2 or 3 of them for a clothes line.

We used these for walls of cruise to hold our wet things out of way it was perfect.

Bought to use on walls of cruise cabin. High strength to weight ratio. Could use scratch resistant stickers to put over magnet surface.

It doesnt hold 100 lbs not eve 5lbs, it just slides down

They weren’t strong enough for what I needed

I only gave overall rating a 4 because instructions were not included. When I took a pair out of the package I wanted to see just how strong they were. I noticed a Teflon ring fell out from between them. These are really strong magnetically. So much so when I put them back together I failed to put the ring between them. My mistake. Now I cant get them apart. That is how strong the little buggers are. A little heads up would have been nice.
