I used these to hold our cruise cabin lanyards and lighter weight items. No issues and held up well. They helped us stay organized and not misplace our cabin keys when we were in the room and also were strong enough to hold our travel beach towels.

First of all, I can hardly believe the whining and complaining about 80lbs. Of course they cant hold up 80lbs. Thats like saying they would be able to suspend a larger size 80lb bag of concrete! Its never going to happen - and I dont care! All I know is these magnet hooks are FANTASTIC!!! They will hold about any NORMAL item you wish. Theyre not made to compete with Arnold Schwarzenegger and theyre not able to suspend an engine in the garage that youre rebuilding. Theyre just freakin magnets, but damn near perfect ones if you ask me. They adhere very well and are difficult but not impossible to remove - which is a preferred strength. Theyre not made to suspend weight while stuck to a little sheet-rock screw! Have you no common sense at all??? I highly recommend these of all the similar choices. Believe me, I did my research. I also recommend ignoring the ridiculous unfounded 1-star ratings. Some people thrive on complaining about everything, as shown here once again. Im buying another set of these for sure! These are great! Very sturdy and they don’t come off easy which is a good thing.

Bought these to use on a cruise we haven’t gone on yet, but my husband has already grabbed a couple of them to use to hang things on in the garage. They work great in the garage, and now I’m looking forward to see how they work on the cruise ship!

They can hold a lot of weight. Sometimes they slip on bumpy roads, and they do spin on the magnet and have to be tightened sometimes. Im sure that could be fixed with an adhesive. Been using them for over a year and I recommend them for organizing small tools and truck compartments.

These magnets did not hold up very well on a cruise ship wall. An individual magnet would hold a hat or a jacket but certainly not a beach bag with stuff in it. With very much weight, they would just slide down the cruise ship wall. So, we were disappointed about how much they would hold, but did like that they would hold jackets and hats so we are keeping them.
