I ordered these because I have some applications that go through bearings quickly and quality wasnt my main concern. I was very impressed with the bearings I received. They came in ten tubes of ten bearings in two seperate boxes. With this quantity of bearings for this price I expected a decent number of defects, but Id estimate issues with less than 10% of the bearings. Thats an acceptable rate to me for the price.

You definitely get what you pay for. Just rolling on a skateboard is ok don’t use for street skateboard setup Sidewalls are the first things to fall off Ended up using for rainy day runs Don’t have to worry about rustling out my good bearings.

I used these bearings on two pairs of rollerblades. 32 bearings. 1/2 are breaking down and have spilled grease. 1 bearing completely blew out and shot bearings everywhere. Ive been rollerblading since 93. Its the bearings. Unsafe at any speed.

Got a lot that were missing 1 bearing and some that didnt even have the clips closed. If you buy these, make sure you remove all the sides and check them before use. You will need to soak them in gas to degrease them and then use whatever lubricant you prefer.

WayneChicago is right on with his review and the cleaning. I bought some ZZ bearings I thought were compete rubbish (ironically the same brand/seller without knowing) Then I bought some more expensive RS ones, that were nicer, but a lot more. I needed a lot for my project, I saw his review and the comments on cleaning and I took a chance. When I realized the rubbish ones were the same brand, I tried cleaning those first and I was very happy with the results. Heres my observation/experience. Originally I soaked them in WD40 for seconds, maybe a whole minute, but I thought the WD40 would cut that grease. I think with some, probably the ZZ ones I had, the grease hardens and particles become the grit. Soaking for 6+ hours certainly broke down the grease. I noticed 2 ZZ didnt spin as fast as the others, so I put them back to soak. While soaking, I tried shaking them up every now and then, mostly it just sat there. Upon taking them out, I spun them before drying, some didnt spin so great, but got better and better as I spun them. I think longer soaking may have helped, I probably should have let them soak all day. The set I got came in 2 paper boxes. Each box had 5 tubes of 10 bearings. The bearings were all uniform, and generously coated with some grease. They didnt spin very well in that condition, There were no deformities, there were no defects in the lot. My application is fidget spinners, and after cleaning and light oiling they spun exceptionally well. If you need to take them out of the box and use immediately these probably arent for you. Unless of course your application requires the grease. But if you dont mind cleaning and oiling. They are quite the bargain. Just remember if you clean them, do it safely and well ventilated and Im thinking the longer they soak the better. The cleaning liquid I used was dark blue/green after all the soaking.

They come in cosmaline i do believe to keep off rust. Out of 20 I found 2 didnt spin right. I clean em woth gasoline and wash n dry with dawn and relube.I notice on my skates I can run a set for about 6 months before relubing.

I ordered these 608 Bearings for use in some projects I have for 3D printing. Some of the bearings are rusted. They dont spin and the ones that do are so coated in oil that you have to force them to move. They are crap bearings, if you can even call them that. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME GETTING THESE! Lets just say, its a good thing Amazon has a return policy!
