Yup, they are bearings. But would not give above a C rating for condition, even at this price. Packing was lacking. All just in a big bag. I found at least 3 different labels on the seals so thinking its a mixed batch of brands. Probably why some seem ok and some not so much. Also cleanliness control was lacking somewhere. as several of them have heavy grit all over. Normally would not care that much, but considering the seal is questionable on many of them as well, its likely the grit got into some. Wanted to use out of the bag, not have to clean and re-lube before use. One seal was missing a part altogether, and others have gap where you can see the bearing inside. Would have been just as well to get non-sealed bearings.

I used these bearings on two pairs of rollerblades. 32 bearings. 1/2 are breaking down and have spilled grease. 1 bearing completely blew out and shot bearings everywhere. Ive been rollerblading since 93. Its the bearings. Unsafe at any speed.

Pros: * Theyre very cheap. * They seem to be reasonably well made. Cons: * There is a lot of drag in whatever they used to lubricate these. It doesnt feel like the drag is from the bearing itself so much as it feels like they used a very heavy grease to lubricate them. I would only use these for very low-speed applications with enough torque to overcome the drag.

Perfect bearings for my truck bed drawer project. Exactly as advertised.

there is an incredibly thick grease coating all of the bearings, making them spin VERY poorly. after soaking some in soapy water for 8 hours, it kind of helped, but they seized up again after drying. I used high quality PTFE lube on one, and it still preformed worse than a bearing I pulled out of a trashed fidget spinner without any added lube. Complete garbage.

Did not fit as expected, fits sloppily on the axle what about a half a millimeter of Clarence although this may have been partially my fault but

These are worse than bearings packed with sand. 30% of them had flat spots on the balls in the bearing that are supposed to be perfectly spherical. Other bearings had extra width on the inner race making it not fit into my application. Some of them the races where ground on a bias making the bearing wobble left to right and not track true. Every single bearing was so stiff when I recieved them that I had to spin them with my drill to get them moving, but now there is so much slop that it looks like bearings I should be replacing before even installing them. The runber dust shields should in theory seal on the inner and outer races; theese ones however let you see light through.... So bottom line if you need 45-50 extreamly light duty, wobbly noisy bearings this is the set to get. Otherwise stay away far far away. If you are thinking these might be good enough for a DIY CNC They are NOT!!

These are 608RS bearings a good value. At first they were listed as having a nylon bearing cage but, in fact, they are steel. I contacted the seller (a small startup) and they responded immediately and corrected the description. Unlike another reviewer here, I did not find the bearings that I received to be full of grease, though. There certainly was some grease inside. If using these for light loads, like skateboarding, try opening up one side and putting a couple of drops of light oil in (I used silicone oil) and give it a few turns to thin out the lubricant a little. That really makes these spin well. If using these for heavy loads and high RPM, leave the grease in, of course, without thinning. But, if using them for light loads, thinning the lubricant may just do the trick for you.

side seals are plastic and some are a bit deformed and interfere with the balls. About 1 every 15 or so are like this
