> 3 dayThese steel blanks come shiny (not polished, but free of scale) and oiled. They were exactly 1.50 wide and 1.20 thick (so not quite the 1.25 of 1/8). Mine all had a slight bow to them over the 12 length, but its not anything I wouldnt be able to correct for. All-in-all, a decent product for the money.

> 3 dayThese are good quality steel and are good for knife making or just to use as metal stock for projects. The steel is easy to work with in terms of cutting and forming. 3 of them were perfectly flat, the 4th was not. It can be bent back flat, but it tends to spring back to the curve pretty easily. I guess thats an indicator that the steel is good. Its not so good if you want to make a straight knife. Maybe I can find another use for the bent one. I like how they came packaged and were all rusty or overly oily. Perfect packaging in my opinion. Overall would recommend for knife projects where you dont want to scrounge up a piece and just want something made for that purpose.

Greater than one weekDecent price. Arrived with some tarnish on one bar. Two of the bars arrived with significant and visible warping. I am doing stock removal knives, so the warping is a big issue. I will have to try to correct the warping with heat treating.

> 3 dayThe hardness I got out of this metal after quenching and my heat treating was roughly 62hrc. The metal did require a lots of elbow grease to get all the scratches and blemishes out. But does clean up nicely

> 3 dayThese 1095 steel plates are perfect for making knives or other edged implements. All of the bars were uniform and ready to be forged into whatever I want. Theyre very good quality.

> 3 daythats what im calling cheap but best. after finishing cutting edge is razor sharp, but really needs oiling after using, because even after one single day its surface getting rust
