They have added additional inputs, did not have enough/right ones before and I was occasionally have power related errors on the old cradle and that has not occurred once with this new cradle!

Great little dock if you need to reclaim some of your real estate on your work surface. It works great. Ethernet port had excellent transfer rates, USB ports and audio out all worked fine. I already had two external monitors, so giving up the laptop screen was not a big deal. I was concerned there might be a heat issue with the laptop closed, but that was not the case. I have an unusual setup, in that this Dell computer is being used as a true desktop replacement. While I have wireless printer and I am using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, I still have a USB scanner, USB label printer, external USB webcam, USB microphone, USB backup drive, etc. Given the small, but very sturdy base, there just is not room for the number of ports I required. That being said, I just attached a simple small USB hub and problem solved. Lastly, for Windows users who use “Windows Hello” for sign in and to verify identity for secure programs, you would have to go back to using a PIN or one of the better webcams with that feature. Off course that applies to all of the stand-up format docks, not just this one. Overall, at this price point, a nice way to cleanup your work surface and only have a single cord to the laptop.

This is a great stand. I it has a the ports you need and still allows you to use the laptop ports. Matches my Lenovo perfectly.

Have been using MS Surface Dock 2, however, have noticed possible issue with the 2 display port, so, was looking around for an alternative. Browsed through Amazon, and after clarifying with 4URPC to be sure that it is compatible with Surface Pro, and added to my wishlist. 4URPC later informed me of this new product of theirs. Some of my thoughts: 1. The packaging is simple enough. 2. Fuss-free connecting up the cables. 3. Can work together with the existing Surface Dock 2, so, i ended up having extra 3 USB ports besides the 4 on the Surface Dock 2. 5. Instead of placing the Surface Pro between the handles, i was able to place 2 portable HDDs. 6. The SD card on the Surface at times will get dismounted, now i can use the SD card slot on this device, easily accessible, in my setup. Works great with Surface Pro. [1-May-2023 updates] The support team has been pretty prompt. Unfortunately the set that Ive received seems to have a bit of faulty USB 3 as they get disconnected while copying many files in one go. Just have to be mindful not to do so. Missing in the manual is the use of external power source so that the device would run more smoothly.

Ive been using this docking station for two months now and use it almost every day. During this time, Ive had no issues or failures with it. I use the dock for my MacBook 12inch laptop seen in the photos and my wife uses it for her Dell Latitude laptop. Simply hook up the USB-c cable from the dock to the PC or Mac and were good to go with dual screens or just the one monitor. I Also like how it has the built in stand for your laptop but may have preferred an option where the vertical laptop holders could be removed so the dock could be placed under the monitor stand. All in all, I have several 4URPC docks at home and for work and none of them have given me any issues. 4URPC seems to make a quality product and I have not been disappointed.

This is a nice dock with a minimalist design. It is visually appealing and allows you to plug your laptop in once to the dock with an included USB-C cable. It cleans up the look of your desk. The HDMI monitor port works flawlessly.

Great dock with no issues on windows, macOS or running my iPad Pro. The fins can be removed if you want to use this as a dock inside your desk as well. High quality build and great customer service as well!

This is a well built dock. The stand is all metal, has excellent padding to protect the finish of your laptop, and the extra ports will help you reign in some of you cables. The stand and extra ports allow you to recoup some space on your desk. So, if you need to clean up some desk space, or just looking for a nice stand to put your laptop in, then this dock is for you!

This is a pretty good stand. It is a room saver. The only thing is when I plug my monitor into the dock it blacks in and out. So I just use it as a stand.

This is the 4th 4URPC dock Ive purchased. They have all been fantastic and worked as advertised, and we have not had any issues with them. We purchased this dock to replace one of our different models to free up some desk space for my wife, and it has done exactly that. The dock itself feels very solid. No worries about the laptop falling or tipping over. Setup for 2 external monitors was plug and play and has enough connectivity for everything we need. As mentioned in other reviews, it did not come with a power brick. That was not an issue for me since I was replacing an existing 4URPC dock that did come with one. The only other potential con is once you connect the power and host it leaves 3 available USB ports (no USB-C). This was also not an issue for me, but just be aware if you have a lot of USB peripherals. Overall, I really like this dock. It has the same quality and reliability of my other 4URPC docks for less money. It has also helped me clean up my wifes desk, which she loves!
