A Treasury of Curious George: 6 Stories in 1!

This digital edition of the book is not unusable, but the layout is very poor on my Kindle app. The book is primarily visual, yet the pages appear poorly scanned with text inserted haphazardly.This book would be better suited to a visual-only format where the text is made legible within the page images. My daughter does enjoy the stories, but she would have trouble reading this by herself using the Kindle app due to the poor layout.

Despite the cover, this book is NOT by H.A. and Margret Rey. In fact, the publisher has so little respect for the product that they do not credit the author and, for several of the storys, credit the illustrations to an interactive company rather than a person. (A company, which has not updated its web site in 10 years!) Very dissapointing.

This is a nice hard cover book, with thick pages. The illustrations are definitely in the style of the originals but it isnt the original books. The stories seem a little bit more rushed and abrupt than the original books, and I think thats how they have lost some of their charm.

These are NOT original Curious George stories, but my 2 year old who LOVES Curious George doesnt know the difference. Quality book, well used by 3 kids and the binding is still in tact.

The is an excellent book. It is full of fun stories my 3.5 year old and my 3 year old nephew have both really enjoyed.

Given as a gift.

Our son loves these stories & they are always with us when we travel.
