A Treasury of Curious George: 6 Stories in 1!

Looking at the title, artwork, and author names on the outside of this book, one would expect it to be a collection of the classic Curious George books. Rather this treasury has stories written from 1999 to 2003. The stories arent bad, but this is not what I thought I was purchasing.

My 9 month old is obsessed with Curious George and it is the only book/show that will capture his attention. I bought this book with the intention of using it as a guest book for his 1st birthday party (Curious George them, of course). It is absolutely perfect and will serve its purpose well as there are multiple pages in the beginning of the book with room for guests messages. We have already been through most of the stories in the book and they are just wonderful. The illustrations are beautiful, Im also a big fan of the older style of George, not what you find on TV today. The book is a lot larger than I thought it would be which is great. I am very, very happy with my purchase. Thank you!!

While these stories are classic George and what you expect, the kindle format is anything but readable. The book is basically scanned and re-subtitled under the illustrations. It does not work well at all on my reader and is a waste of money. It is absolutely frustrating to try and read this in a dim room at night time, Ill stick to Thomas the Train books, they seemed to be actually made for an e-reader. Until I see a review that states these are improved for the e-book format Ill pass.

My kids love Curious George and this book holds up better than the smaller individual books we have. Great stories. Between this book and two other books with a collection of stories, we have practically every Curious George story. Would recommend buying the big books over buying them individually.

What can I say - these are classic tales, collected in an attractive square hardback edition. We love this book, and have returned to it many times over the years.

My son is 3 and has been watching curios george on PBS. I bought this book, cause i wanted to build his interest in reading with one of his fav. tv characters. With this book, he can now relate to the stories he has seen and even tries to translate the illustrations in his own words. The book is a little heavy for the little hands... but all the 8 stories are wonderful and keep him hooked up to the book. Would highly recommend it.

This was a great book. We only expected one story, but this was full of stories. Purchased for a baby shower for the mom to read to the newborn. Everyone picked their favorite childhood story. Arrived timely and in excellent condition.
