> 3 dayBefore I used it on my home stereo, the temp was in the high 90`s and sometimes higher, now with the Aircom T8 it never gets over 84 degrees no mater how loud I use my amp. It fit perfect in my rack and it exhaust out the back which is great. I would recommend for any user wanting to lower the temps on their home theater system! I love it, also not to loud either!

> 3 dayI am using this unit to cool my Denon AVR-X2200W. Overall the Aircom T8 does exactly what it is described to do! The quality of the unit appears to be excellent! It looks great in my cabinet as well! I just wish they provided more recommendations as too the proper temperatures to set the alarming function and cooling set points. I requested that information from Denon and they are NO help.

> 3 dayBought the AIRCOM T8 rear-exhaust cooler to sit atop an AV receiver running a little hot due to the cabinet top blocking natural convection airflow. Easy to install, dropped the temperature at the top of the case by >20 F. Using the automatic control mode, it rarely goes above speed 2, and is very quiet.

> 3 dayThe build quality of this unit is amazing. It matches and fits perfectly with my A/V components. Although easy to use, I wish it had an instruction manual so I could have understood what the smart option was for instead of searching online. I also wish it wasnt as loud and that you could program RPM speed so it would ramp up slower as heat increased. Currently is ramps up too fast wheras it would be better if the fan started to spin up earlier at a slower speed so it would stay cooler and not have to spin up full blast when it starts to get warm. External temperature sensor would also be nice as well as a trigger input that am amp could connect to that would trigger it to turn on when the amp turns on.

> 3 dayIf your A/V receiver, amp or other electronics reside in a cabinet and you are concerned about heat (and you should be), this is the solution. My Aircom T8 rests on top of a huge Yamaha A/V receiver and is sandwiched under a Panasonic Bluray player...all this in a Mission console (which is *not* ventilation friendly). I installed two 12v fans- triggered from my receiver- on the back panel of the console. This allows air from the T8 to be moved out of the enclosure once it exits the back of the AC Infinity unit.

> 3 dayI have an old Antec Sounddesign topper for my receiver which I purchased back in 2012 and is the same functionality with the ability to put weight on top of it, with two fans that blow out the rear, no pun intended. I purchased this one because of the so-called smart features that I was curious about and I was looking for my replacement to be a bit quieter than the Antec version. What was intriguing about this particular purchase was that there were three fans and the ability to daisy chain additional fans. Because I keep the receiver in a cabinet and the doors are always closed, I was able to daisy chain some additional fans that I purchased on Amazon as well and cut a few holes in the back of my cabinet for the fans and the smart feature has adapted to the temperature readings coming from the receiver, which allow the fan speed to speed up and slow down according to what the temperature is. This is an amazing feature. The fans are very quiet. So that basically means I have five fans in the cabinet now, three on the unit and two additional daisy-chained off the back blowing the exhaust out the back of the cabinet. I can hear all five fans when they are all on at max speed but they are noticeably less loud than my Antec two fan-er. To compare that I would say it is just a low hum compared to a mid pitched hum. The quality of the fans is way better than the quality on the my old Antec so this was a great purchase for me. But I dont know why its so darn expensive other than the rolled metal housing. My Antec was like 30 bucks and this thing is $120. So maybe the technology that caused the expense is the Smart feature for the temp control. Anyway... awesome addition.
