I moved my new home theater receiver into a cabinet and was concerned about heat buildup. This unit sits directly on top of the AVR pulling heat vertically, then blow it horizontally out the rear. In my cabinet, hot air flows right out the rear cut-out the cabinet has for cables to pass through. Easy to program with nice control features and very quiet. After purchase I bought one of their other fan products for an XBox Series S. All their fan products work well and if you use multiple fans in your application they can be interconnected. Very cool!

very nice product, a savior to my AVR cabinet, for years I couldnt shut the door because of the heat that built up from my Sony receiver, I never new the product existed but when I bought my new receiver I bought the unit to go with it. What a difference, it never gets above 89 in the cabinet. Also the smart feature is well with the money. A++++

We have a Marantz Cinema 50 receiver and although it is in a true entertainment center that has ventilated shelf slots and backing we bought this for added piece of mind. It fits nicely on top of our receiver. We barely hear it run and it was easy to set up. It runs according to our settings and helps push the heat out. Typically, receivers are made to handle running at fairly high temps but we use the receiver for both watching TV and for multi-zone music playing so this is a great investment that can help reduce the strain on your receiver. Be sure to get the model that pushes the air in the direction you need it pushed as they sell different models.

This was a perfect fit on top of my Marantz SR5013! I set the temp to 78 degrees in Auto mode and cranked up some jams. After a bit the Marantz hit 78 and triggered the fans. The T8 held the temp without ever needing more than the lowest speed. My house was 70 degrees, but the Marantz is in a mostly enclosed cabinet. Im anxious to see how it performs in the summer time in a warmer environment. Noise was Not an issue for me. You could crank the fans up in their higher settings and make some noise, but I cant see it being an issue...at least for my situation. We run our ceiling fan on High year round so this unit wouldnt be an issue even on open shelving for us. Anyway, yes I like it and recommend it!

Dont know why they used 3 small fans that have high noise rather than one large fan. This produces a high whine sound. Im a IT professional and reminds me of servers with whines like this, totally unusable if in the same room. I had it on the top of my Denon ATMOS receiver which throws a lot of heat out. It was in a cabinet behind a glass door with an open back and I could hear the whine with music on medium. It may be fine in an A/V rack in another room, but not in the same room.

Great product. Keeps my Yamaha receiver at 84 degrees in closed entertainment center. Cut slots in back to allow the fans to push hot air out. No heat issues
