> 3 dayThis unit is very good at cooling my Denon AVR-X6700H installed in my media cabinet! The difference in the ambient heat in the cabinet after watching a movie is phenomenal - at least 20 degrees cooler than before. The interface is not exactly intuitive, but the manual does a good job of explaining how to utilize the numerous customizable modes and settings, which makes this unit very versatile for a number of use cases. I feel confident that my AVR will benefit for the cooler operating temperatures. Im able to run the fan on level 3 in my cabinet, exhausting to the rear, without any noticeable noise from my home theater seating area. That level is sufficient to maintain about 89 degrees F in my cabinet in a 73 degree ambient room. I think this is a great investment, and highly recommend if you have any equipment operating temperature concerns in your setup.

> 3 dayI have an old Antec Sounddesign topper for my receiver which I purchased back in 2012 and is the same functionality with the ability to put weight on top of it, with two fans that blow out the rear, no pun intended. I purchased this one because of the so-called smart features that I was curious about and I was looking for my replacement to be a bit quieter than the Antec version. What was intriguing about this particular purchase was that there were three fans and the ability to daisy chain additional fans. Because I keep the receiver in a cabinet and the doors are always closed, I was able to daisy chain some additional fans that I purchased on Amazon as well and cut a few holes in the back of my cabinet for the fans and the smart feature has adapted to the temperature readings coming from the receiver, which allow the fan speed to speed up and slow down according to what the temperature is. This is an amazing feature. The fans are very quiet. So that basically means I have five fans in the cabinet now, three on the unit and two additional daisy-chained off the back blowing the exhaust out the back of the cabinet. I can hear all five fans when they are all on at max speed but they are noticeably less loud than my Antec two fan-er. To compare that I would say it is just a low hum compared to a mid pitched hum. The quality of the fans is way better than the quality on the my old Antec so this was a great purchase for me. But I dont know why its so darn expensive other than the rolled metal housing. My Antec was like 30 bucks and this thing is $120. So maybe the technology that caused the expense is the Smart feature for the temp control. Anyway... awesome addition.

Greater than one weekEXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!. I AM USING WITH A TWO CHANNEL HIGH POWER AMP. This unit is easy to use and low profile. Keep my amplifier 20 degrees cooler than without it. The auto control for fan speed allow for quite operation. I have purchased 3 units and will be purchasing another when they are back in stock.

> 3 dayThis seems to be a well thought out component cooler. There are several modes of operation and the cooler is very quiet. Its looks are as good as its function. So far I am very pleased with my purchase and I would not hesitate to recommend to others. If I ever need another one, It will be this

> 3 dayI bought AIRCOM 78 for my NAD T778 receiver that was running a bit hot in my AV console. Love the small foot print, configuration choices, and ability to turn off display, auto settings. Ive had unit for about 3 days, runs smoothly, for my taste, I set fan speed at 2 and I found the noise level is just right, plus it does the job. Will buy another one for my zone 2 receiver.

> 3 dayIt is very nice to use, especially like the flexibility of programing it and seeing the temperature being drawn from the A/V receiver. I taped the gap between the AIRCOM and the receiver so the air is drawn directly from the upper vents of the receiver. This raised the reading on the AIRCOM, which means it was moving more heated air from the receiver, therefore, more cooling benefit.

> 3 dayWhen the fans kick in and the room is quiet, you know it. For 120 bucks they should be driven by something more quiet. Ill most likely be selling this.
